Yes, easily. If you grab the PC edition at the very least make sure you have a controller of some sort as the KB/mouse interface is fairly awful. There is also a mod out for it called DSfix that allows you to run it at 1080p/60fps, etc.

So apparently you can only buy these if you are in the US. Anyone know of a workaround? I would be refering to dark souls off of amazon.

Massive sale on Amazon, runs through the end of the month:

What's the verdict on Dark Souls? Worth $7.50?
Yeah, Dark Souls is one of the best games ever.

Also...Mark of the Ninja is only $3.75, and its an awesome game. One of the best stealth-action titles around. You even get gear awarded by completing side objectives, which enhances techniques of that playstyle. I played the game "ghost", trying for no kills and high stealth, so managed to unlock a suit that eliminated noise made from movement.

With digital purchases all you need is to input an US address and it will let you make the purchase, just find some random one.

Is Cities XL the game I should buy if I want to play SimCity?

EDIT: Seems most reviews say no, it is a buggy piece of shit too. Back to SimCity 4 I guess.

No, buy Sim City 4 + the Rush Hour expansion and install some of the mods out there like NAM etc.

The base version of Sim City 4 though is a broken mess, go Rush Hour or go home.

Not really. The game engine is terribad, and the gameplay itself is pretty shallow. It can be fun for awhile, and for $10 it's probably a decent buy, but don't expect anything all that good.

My standard reminder every time Alan Wake PC is mentioned: Launch the game once with the -developermenu option and enable Nightmare mode for the first playthrough (then close the game and remove -developermenu before playing). Nightmare changes the game from a far-too-easy TPS with a flashlight gimmick to something that fans of survival horror can truly enjoy.

Humble Bundle 8 is out. Haven't heard of any of the games, but I'm going to snag it anyways. Had fun with the previous bundles. From the site:

Dear Esther;
the extraterrestrial action platformer Capsized;
the colorful and cartoonish multiplayer action platformer Awesomenauts;
the endearing minimalist puzzle-platformer Thomas Was Alone;
and the witty and charming sandbox puzzler Little Inferno.

If you pay over the average, you?ll also receive the gory fast-paced top-down action game Hotline Miami and the audio-visual exploration and discovery game Proteus.
