I finished the first book as of yesterday afternoon. Being that there's only 3-episodes left, I doubt they're going to catch up. Unless they have a lot more substance in these final episodes. There isn't "much" left to tell, but there's enough.

It's one of the best story telling of the season.

And it keeps you wanting for more snippets of the past.
