I finished the first book as of yesterday afternoon. Being that there's only 3-episodes left, I doubt they're going to catch up. Unless they have a lot more substance in these final episodes. There isn't "much" left to tell, but there's enough.

It's one of the best story telling of the season.

And it keeps you wanting for more snippets of the past.

Cat and Dragon bringing in the wholesomeness.

Ogre's Bride is pretty good for s shoujo story.

Daemons had some good family moments, and I really hope the Ivan story wraps up this season.

Jobless Reincarnation's episode was really good today. I didn't expect them to struggle like that, but just goes to show he still has a long way to go.

They aren't dwelling on how well it's animated, so the story just moves. I'm at the point now where they're about to start hunting the metal frogs. I found all 104 issues of the manga (or whatever you call it, I'm not a weeb) translated to english, and other than being b/w it looks exactly like the anime minus the cgi backgrounds and the annoying rainbow lense flares. Even if they spend several pages of each issue recapping the previous issue (seems doubtful with how short they are) I can just skip past them with a couple of clicks. I think I'm done with the show after I went ahead and watched the next one in Japanese to see how fucking awful it was in terms of actual content. Who thought that was a good idea?? Literally nothing happens for 98% of each episode. I never watched DBZ, but I feel like maybe that show wasn't even this bad?

Anyway, I'll start reading them soon and see how it goes. If anyone wants them, let me know.

Good deal. I downloaded them also, just in case I ever want to read the comic stuff, but I'm really enjoying the novel. I'm currently 80% through the 2nd book.

Also, for the Manga, this goes up to chapter 162. Try that to get the next 58 chapters after yours is done.
