I agree he sounds Scottish, but he references that he’s Irish often and lives in Ireland. Kind of like how Sean Connery was British but sounded Scotish.

Just out of this. Though there were some aspects that were meh (some of the sound track choices as an example), I thought it was pretty good.
That silver age spirit was all over this and it translated to the big screen quite well.

This seriously needed way less Dog being the macguffin merch plot armor, pretty unhappy with the over representation on that character, though the mindless retards in the audience clapped like fuckin seals every appearance.

That's how it always has been. Once you find a few good critics on the same wavelength as you they can help filter things. I love Critical Drinker's direct movie and TV reviews. His taste in video games is... not in line with mine. The age of woke is fading, but there are still a lot of faggots in Hollywood trying to push it on us.90% of the FOH posters would agree that only 10% know WTF they are talking about.
Problem is everyone thinks they are in that 10%.

Does he really review video games? The stuff I see is him taking about the failures but doesn't actually play. Think the only time I see him talk about video games is how they blame failures on everyone but themselves. Pretty much talks about why certain games succeed and others fail which is basic knowledge

Green Lantern did deploy his powers a bit and it was quite imaginative at times but never really felt amazing. Hawkgirl felt kinda stupid, she keeps doing this screech thing that was annoying, like a hot girl with a valley accent talking. One running gag of the movie is the name of the metahuman group.
Mr. Terrific was the best of the other metahumans and he is in the movie a lot. I still don't really understand his powers (he is super smart and has some robots? I think he can fly?) but all of them are just slotted in when they are needed to fight, we learn absolutely nothing about any of them.
The one thing this movie is super sincere, there is not a cynical bone in its body which is refreshing after Zack Snyders grimdark stuff. Gunn got that "golly gee whiz" aspect of silver age DC perfect.

He's in some crucial scenes but not in the way you'd expect and not really part of the Justice
And of all the characters that could use at least a line or two of dialog for backstory I thought he needed it the most. He just appears and does stuff with little to no explanation. He does have the most understandable motivations though, more so than any of the other metahumans.

My 6 year old loves this shit. And the adult babies drive up transformer costs quickly. They are fun to play with with him. Watched a cam. This is a great movie and an awesome superhero film and id rate it 8/10 and 9/10 from a dc fan. Jumping into a developed universe is awkward though, now I have questions like where was the speedster family? where are the other tech billionaires like the Queen family? A lot of questions. Other than questioning everything from a fan view, the movie was a lot of fun. The cast of characters were more entertaining than Marvel's recent Riri garbage so win win for DC and comic book film in general.
Over all? its a win and an awesome starting point for the new DCU.
