Redigit says 1.2 will officially release on Oct 1st. This is much more definitive than the previous "around this time" announcements made. Skepticism is still understandable.

Less than a week to wait. Hope steam pushes out the update early in the morning! Also I'm hoping the modding tools get updated in a timely fashion, since I will miss my custom light spell I made. Terraria is really too dark when underground IMO !

Anyone else plan on playing this daily on launch, hoping to get into a progressive multiplayer game.

I actually enjoy the banter between those two. Their older Terraria series are what convinced me to buy the game earlier this summer.

Part 2 of the series. This shows more of the new things than last video. Among them you can mine lead which you can turn into chains and place to climb up or down. So if you are making a long tunnel downwards, you can put a chain from the top to the bottom and just climb up and down. Mobs have health bars too, didn't notice that last video.

I can't decide if I want to start completely over or just do a new world.

I've decided to start from scratch...I just love rolling up from the bottom to the top. Plus, I figure gameplay at the lower levels will have changed as well with the new changes.
