Ya, legit. If you look carefully at the HD images, you can clearly see the threads. You can also see the powdered metal after the pull out.
And 3 strikes trying to enter in the first place.
Like the user wasnt comfortable with drilling in zero G, or perhaps having second thoughts.

I would think so.
At the least the Russians may bail from the current space program.
But I have a feeling it was a bad actor trying to sabotage the joint to create this issue....probably for politics as I cant think of any other reason to do that in the first place.

Remember Trump announced we would be working with the Russians on the moon base?
Russia and US will cooperate to build moon's first space station

I'm probably looking at this wrong but 'politics' sounds plausible if you consider how badly the globalists want the rift/cold war/chess game between the Russians and America to continue instead of pushing forward to new heights.

Then again, maybe it was a lovers spat.

I figured it would be some Chinese or Emirati billionaire. It's easy to forget the Japanese had been doing conspicuous consumption for decades while China was still a commie shithole and Dubai was just a desert town.
