I thought the game that looked the "worst" was Ryse. Graphically it was fairly beautiful but it seemed like it's storytelling was exactly like COD and then it turned into a game revolving around QTEs. Not sure why you needed "next gen" platforms to pull off their ambitions. Maybe there is more they didn't show/talk about that really requires the platform Xbone provides.

The Xbox One's APU costs more than the one inside the PS4, but the PS4's GDDR5 ram is more costly than the Xbox One's DDR3 ram. As such, the hardware inside the PS4 should be fairly similar in cost to that inside the Xbox One. The big differentiator will be Kinect. While the Kinect is bundled with the Xbox One, the Playstation Eye doesn't come bundled with the PS4.

I can't see $299 or $349 happening. $399 and $449 seem fairly plausible, though.

Remember that the US prices are without taxes while ours are with VAT included in the price. It's still an expensive piece of kit, but it's nottooout of line with the US prices.

I seriously cannot understand what Microsoft is thinking. It's like they have no intention to sell this system outside of America and are banking way too hard on hardcore CoD Xbros and thinking that people will pay $500 to watch TV on their TV (which is only going to work in the US on launch).

A few of these games actually looked good, but it appears the people responsible for these piece of shit pressers are still employed. Unreal that a company so big with so much pull and clout can come off so amateurish in their own backyard. $500? Are you fucking out of your minds Microsoft?!

Oh, it's launching at ?429, not ?425. That makes it ?4 more expensive than the infamously outrageous PS3 launch price. Hah.
