PSN down? Can you just not connect to other players? I just now, literally within the last 5 minutes entered my AC4 code for the Aveline mission and downloaded it via the store.Welp mine is working, although PSN being down kind of sucks.
Did you get it at Gamestop? Gamestop District Managers will be sitting on a few systems to use for defective exchanges/presale screwups for really irate customers. If you got it at Gamestop, pitch a fit, ask for the DMs number, and you might be able to get it swapped out ASAP today rather than having to wait for the 2nd round of shipments. We used to do that with every system launch I was around for, I assume they still do.I've tried everything about 5 times each. No dice. Just a blue light and no output to my TV or extra computer monitor I had.
All part of that day-1 experience! Tap into the vein of launch day by spending 400USD + tax to enjoy the zen of non-working console.I've tried everything about 5 times each. No dice. Just a blue light and no output to my TV or extra computer monitor I had.
The most sane thing you've said all day. I'll still buy DAI, because I can't help myself, but I won't touch most of the rest of their shit.Best bet is to not purchase any EA games at all.
That's bizarre. My system is setup to stay connected and has been in standby mode since last night. I wonder if i just never got kicked off once I got connected yesterday. It is timing out when I try to log in to my PSN Account, said server maintenance was going on.
Mine was doing that last night I was just persistent with it and it eventually went through and I was able to setup a PSN account via the PS4. Once you are logged in it wont log you out unless you completely turn off your console (not standby). Best advice I can give is to just keep trying. It is timing out when I try to log in to my PSN Account, said server maintenance was going on.
I'm having this issue but I keep trying. It is timing out when I try to log in to my PSN Account, said server maintenance was going on.
UPDATE (4:01pm) - This afternoon, EA put up a blog post blaming the PS4's day-one firmware update for "stability issues" affecting games on the new console. Now they're saying that was a mistake.P
"The message on EA's Help site was posted in error," an EA representative said in an e-mail to Kotaku. "Players with questions about PS4 connectivity can visitError... for the latest updates."P

Did you just get a brand new PlayStation 4? Did you download the day-one firmware update? Be careful-EA says the new patch has been rendering games unstable and buggy.P

UPDATE (3:42pm) - The blog post has now been pulled.
Seriously, if I'm going to burn 400 bucks it ain't going to be on destroying a piece of hardware. He could spent that $400.00 on a hooker and some blow.
I like your math. Will you do my taxes for me?Buy for 400, resell for 800, buy another for 400, break that one, still have 400?
