Yeah, Wii did it first and I hated it (ZELDA FUCK YOU). Don't really feel it was necessary especally when on Resogun my surround sound is saying the exact same goddamn thing. KZ tried to use it by playing audio logs through it.. but I don't care.

I really like how the speaker is used for audio logs in Killzone. It's pretty cool. All the babbling in Resogun coming out of it, is stupid, however. It's just an echo of what the chick keeps saying in the normal speakers and kind of annoying.
As for the light on the controller, it is just an LED, so probably not a major factor in the battery sucking. Maybe 2 hours and half-dead was an exaggeration, but the DS3 would literally go a week without having to charge it. It's not a big deal and just a nitpick at this point. Everything has been very good in my PS4 experience thus far.

I love the way you can stream music from Music Unlimited and play a game at the same time. It's great for a game like NFS and sounds like the game naturally supported custom music instead of the music playing over the top of game sound effects. I hope for an Pandora or a Spotify app someday but there was never one for the PS3 so PS4 is out of the question too I bet.

I love my Astro's but I didn't get the mixamp so I paid much less than that. I love them even more now that you can design your own tags for the sides.
i dont see anything under 200, i see some pc headsets for 150, but anything for "xbox" is 200, am i lost?

I dusted off my old launch 360 that was sitting in a closet, verified it booted up and erased the drive/profiles, and got $100 for it plus another $30 for all my old shitty 360 games at Best Buy. The 360 itself was worth only $1 according to the BB computers, but they are guaranteeing $100 for any 360/ps3 that boots and has a scannable serial number and controller. I didn't have the AV cords or a spare HDMI cable but they only wanted the working controller and brick/power. The games are giving a 100% bonus for tradein at the moment too, most of them were only worth 25 cents (haha) but a few like lego saga were like $5, none of the games I had were newer than 5 years.

I bought mine for PC since I do more gaming on it, you're pretty much stuck with the mixamp version for the time being on console.
EDIT: I'm showing starting at 199 on their site under "platform" category and 99 for PC.

I think the speaker and light on the controller is a love or hate thing. I think it's awesome and like it, my buddy thinks it's pointless, some people downright hate it. The first time the kz audio log started up I was like hey this is cool, it wont get washed out by the game sound.
