Yeah especially when Lynch is demonstrably unstable. Wilson has the good fortune of being a good runner, being backed by a solid defense, and having the best RB taking heat off of him every play. That D is slowly being dismantled as those guys are starting to cash in. Lynch is batshit and now that he got his money, they are stuck having to pay Wilson whatever he asks to cover their bets. Luckily, they get to play in the second shittiest division in the league, so they get a Patriots style 16 game pre-season leading up to the playoffs.

What. You wish, the NFC West was decent again last year and fielded 2 playoff teams. One which went to the Superbowl for the second year in a row.

I'm absolutely uneducated on this topic having only skimmed a few articles when it first became a thing so I fully acknowledge you probably know way more about the circumstances than I do...

I skip any link he posts that has "Boston" "New England" or "North Eastern" in the URL. That's all of his links.
I just skip his posts now. Saves time and if I want to hear a biased and retarded Pats fan, I just turn on ESPN radio for a bit.

2nd worst division in football? Are you watching fucking Lingerie League or something?

It's definitely worse than it's been in recent years, but I doubt it's worse than either South division. NFC East isn't going to spectacular either.

So what is the argument here? That there definitely were trainers doing something to balls and that despite them referencing Tom a bunch of times, he claims to not know about it.

That's all true right? So then, your case is that the specific balls in question weren't actually deflated that much?

They did deflate balls and Tom probably knew about it. That's my understanding. I'm open to being corrected.
Please don't talk to Azeth about this. I know it's super easy to win the argument, but it won't get you anywhere.

I think we can all agree that the NFC South was the worst division in football last season, followed, and with some distance imo, by the AFC South.

Except the number of times a defense stacks the box against Seattle is absurdly low (I think it may have even been lowest in the league) demonstrating that Wilson carries Lynch just as hard as Lynch carries Wilson

This played into Dallas' success last year as well. Toward the end of the year teams actually started to focus on Murray and that's when Romo stepped in and had his best series of games. They really turned into a multi-threat offense. You had to respect both the run and the pass because they could kill you with both.

I think Wilson, despite his shallow body of work, is definitely worth whatever he's going to make, at least now. The truth is that the league basically pays you for past performances, with no guarantee that the future will turn out the same. In some cases it's a no brainer. See: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers. It probably pays off as much as it doesn't. If Wilson continues his great play, he's going to get paid. Hell, at this point he'll get paid because having a guy like him is worth more in the long term than not having a guy like him.

The easier part about defending Dallas compared to Seattle is you aren't really fearing Romo's legs and making improvised plays. So on obvious run downs you can stack and on obvious pass downs you can retract. Obviously things aren't quite that black and white but in general that theory would hold up with Dallas' offense last year. It isn't quite that black and white with Seattle. Every single down Wilson can make a play and move the chains with his legs and play improvising. So it makes it extremely ambiguous if this is a run down (which can bite them in the ass: See the Super Bowl) or if this is a pass down. So you can't as a DC simply be like "3rd and 1 lets bring 9" because Wilson could just as easily bootleg for that 1 and you won't have the safeties or LBs out far enough to have any chance at stopping it.

That's a fair assessment. And in that respect you're right that Wilson and Lynch are complementing one another. Wilson really reminds me the most of Steve Young, a true threat as a runner and a passer. He does need to keep up with the latter part though, as any QB who makes it past 30 can attest that being a run threat doesn't last forever.

The fuck? I don't even know you anymore.
Dude's the consensus top fantasy back, if not overall fantasy player, in the league this year. Da fuck you want me to do, drop him? Not like I'm rooting for the team to win, just for his stat line.

Just think if you had him and Antonio Brown?

I mean...shit...you could just have the whole set of triplets and have a great fantasy team ready to roll.

C'mon man, you know you want that team just to troll all your Bawlmore friends playing with you. Make them trades!

AJ Green is going to be healthy all season and put Antonio Brown back in his place.

Judging from all the articles coming out of Bengals Land you would think that the AJ McCarron to AJ Green connection is pretty much a done deal by the time we get to Week 8.
