First thing the NFL is a juggernaut, they don't need bad publicity to sell anything especially when it has to do with the integrity of their game.Their network slots are booked years in advance. Tickets are sold on a state level, if your team sucks guess what you aren't selling as many tickets as you want, and that has nothing to do with the publicity of the NFL. If your team sucks you aren't selling as much merchandise.
Sports writers are the only ones that profit off of controversy. The number one rule in tabloid journalism is we build you up to tear you down for the double story.

I think if I was Brady I would have turned it on the refs immediately and opened up a huge fucking investigation basically:
