So there were some news story here locally (Louisiana) where there is some left wing piece of shit now going around saying the Fleur de lis is racist due to some history stuff even though I have never in as long as I have lived here ever seen it used in a racial manner. They just won't stop until they get their way on all the dumbest shit eh?

Mhmm. Apparently, back in slavery times, if you tried to run and escape in Louisiana and got caught, part of your punishment was to be branded with a Fleur de lis. Not sure if this is true as I am not a history person and that is what the guy said that is starting this shit. It is suppose to also be a symbol of supremacy which is why it was done to slaves who tried to escape to show ownership over them or something to that effect.

I swear everything is racists or insensitive these days. I mean is "moving the chains" also racists due to slavery and so many black people being on prison chain gangs? Also, 'first down' is insensitive if you've seen the movie Glory where the black regiment was pushed out ahead and were the first soldiers to go down.

I was coming here to post that. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but it's still really lame. I know Cincy fans are frustrated as fuck to be a poor man's 90s Braves but c'mon. Booing the man won't help.
He did hit two HRs in the game though.
It is pretty easy to look at his playoff stats and shoulder the blame on him, though. Most fans are to the point where we want more than just getting bounced in embarrassing fashion out of the first round. "It could be worse" is not a valid argument when someone could just as easily say "It could be better."

I can understand that I guess. But I'm not sure more than a small handful of QBs could have taken that team much further.
Yeah. Deadline is Wednesday though. And I don't think it's Dez really showing this card. It would eat him up inside to miss out on things like Training Camp and games in the season, not to mention the lost money.
Dalton is like the kid in school who does all his homework and does well on it then once test time comes he locks up and gets a D. Sure he did well on everything leading up to the test but when it comes time to put up he can't follow through. I'm not even really a Dalton hater because the entire team comes out and looks flat when the bright lights are turned on which leads me to think it is a coaching and preparedness issue. But you simply can't argue Dalton doesn't play like a huge pile of dogshit ontop of all the other issues the team (mainly offense) has when the games matter.

We just fucking suck in playoff games overall. Even the defense is shit. Allowed rushing YPG during the regular season? Typically around 80 yds. Allowed rushing YPG during playoffs? Close to 150 yds. It's a disaster and now I'm mad because the Reds suck too and will probably suck for a while because Walt is going to blow this trade deadline so bad.
