I try and let the defense have a bit of a pass because the offense plays like such garbage the defense is on the field significantly more time in playoff games. If I it wasn't for the offense turning it over or going 3 and out every single set of downs the defense may play well. Generally the defense makes sure the game doesn't get out of hand immediately but then the offense keeps crapping the bed.

Yeah. Deadline is Wednesday though. And I don't think it's Dez really showing this card. It would eat him up inside to miss out on things like Training Camp and games in the season, not to mention the lost money.
Dez doesn't seem to think that.

Dalton is like the kid in school who does all his homework and does well on it then once test time comes he locks up and gets a D. Sure he did well on everything leading up to the test but when it comes time to put up he can't follow through. I'm not even really a Dalton hater because the entire team comes out and looks flat when the bright lights are turned on which leads me to think it is a coaching and preparedness issue
I've thought that for a while. I don't like coaches getting booted too soon by shitty clubs who should give them time to build something. And I have a soft spot for Lewis from the old DC days here. But really, he's the second most tenured HC in the league and one of the only ones in the top ten longest running active HC's who hasn't brought home a title. The team has built WELL and there is some talent there on both sides of the ball. At some point I think you have to consider this inability to take the next step to be an organizational issue more than talent and personnel. I know if I'm a Bengals fan I'm probably ready for a change, definitely if they are a stagnant one-and-done again or regress this year.

Much as I hate to say it, reduce Le'Veon Bell's too! He's a fantasy keeper! And my other two keepers are holdout Dez and old man Manning, who I kinda wish I had someone else but there's no one else on my roster that makes sense to hold on to right now. I gotta find a QB high though to keep next year.

If things don't improve it is absolutely time to move on from Lewis. I think the organization knows that as well which is why he only got a 1 year extension. I also feel like the Bengals are now better run than they were pre-Lewis era. I don't think we'll go back to being completely incompetent. Now that Brown has taken a step back his daughter is actually running the show quite well. I still wish they'd get a real GM, though.

I don't know which is worse having an owner/GM due to ego like the Cowboys or an owner/GM due to cheapness like the Bengals

At least Gerruh throws enough money at the team they win a playoff game every once in a while.

its logical when you're completely innocent. not only that but when you're punished for not turning your private phone over to your employer, thus violating US labor law.
I'm absolutely uneducated on this topic having only skimmed a few articles when it first became a thing so I fully acknowledge you probably know way more about the circumstances than I do...

...but there's now fucking way he's completely innocent.

I don't understand how you could be so sure. Any credible scientific data has pointed out there isn't even evidence of deflation.
