I'd give it about a 5/10.

The first 15 levels aren't too bad, but then the pacing goes to absolute shit. Every step of the main quest is gated by character level, so you end up doing MQ and you're at like 30-40% of the level, then do all the side quests, you're at like 70%. Now you have nothing left to do but open world stuff, repeat old missions, etc. and you have to do several of those to reach the level up. Repeat the whole process over and over and over, every single level. The game might have been ok if they cut the xp reqs for every level in half, but as it stands It is just tedious as hell. On top of the other issues I had, it's also one of those games where half the quests are just "go do open world content 3 times" AND there's a daily limit on how many times you can get a reward from doing said content.

In the end all it really made me want to do is play the actual Division 1 instead of a shoddy mobile game knockoff. Was actually going to load it up again this weekend but I somehow managed to misplace my PS4 disc.
Had this installed for weeks. Saved me the trouble of launching it. Thank you.

Backfire tank build has so far been the most consistent performer for me. And then I try a full dps build and die like an idiot because I'm so used to not using cover and charging in to an easily surrounded position. Full retard brain after playing tank based builds. I do need to get a decent drone/turret build together.

Yeah, I'd say my most consistent builds are Backfire, Heartbreaker (Tinkerer w/Carbine 7 Flatline+Preservation or Lexington/MK46/Equalizer/Turmoil for easy content), and Core Str (yellow cores for max Capacitor dmg). I keep trying to make an all-red Striker build work but I just can't deal with the bullshit where one tiny mistake on Heroic/Legendary/Escalation = game over. Even if I want to play dps in a group I would rather use the Sheriff/Lex build I posted a few days ago than risk getting downed repeatedly. Usually I stick with a support build like Bluescreen + OD, or else just heal with Refactor.

Far as drone/turret goes, I don't think you can beat 4pc Refactor + Force Multiplier + Impetus. Sometimes I swap the backpack out for a 4-yellow Investor, but for general use I think using both named items is usually better all around. It's also super easy to farm since all you need is either gloves or knees that come with skill dmg so that you can roll the armor to skill tier. The other piece you can just leave blue. I don't think it's ever worth going back to the old setup with Empress either. It's just not worth giving up the armor regen for a very minor increase in skill damage.

Drone turret for me its all core strength build. Safe, skills do tons of dmg and you do toms of dmg with your AR while buffing your skills to do even more. Its easy to farm other than the Brazos piece with skill dmg. The gloves would be better with skill dmg as well instead of the crit shit they got on them now, but thats just an upgrade for later when I find some. I love this build so much I have it on 2 of my 3 characters. EZ heroic shit all day long. Even retaliations.

Plus 2 million armor with no seasonal mods, with its like 2.4mill. And base weapon dmg is like 190K for the capacitor. And you can even use seasonal mods to up your skill dmg by like 60% or some shit, but I chose the head shot/armor stuff.

As far as the full striker DPS stuff, its all about positioning. You want full cover but not be in cover, if you know what I mean. Keep in mind too, that the more aggressive you are, the dumber the AI is. SO you use this to your advantage too. Being locked down in some 1/2 cover somewhere youre allowing the AI to get its shit together and start flanking and shooting.

Yeah, I do all that, but like I said... one tiny mistake and you're back at the beginning. As bad as it is in normal content, it's 10x worse in escalation where you can end up out of tokens and stuck having to do at least 2 completely worthless missions just to get things going again.

Im staying away from escalations. Its useless until they fix it and allow modding the gear. There is so much RNG in this game youre literally looking for a unicorn. Even on something like set gear which only has 2 rolls on it, yeah youre gonna get a striker piece with weapon dmg and handling, GUARANTEED. And all of the really good stat shit drops in T10s anyway. And im no where near lv 30 in expertise so I cant craft/upgrade my own using cores anyway.

I did a few t1-3 with my core skill build up top and it went fine, but like I said, totally useless. For me at least. Now I have a few cores, lol.

Finally got some luck last night. My 10th or so prototype First Bloom actually rolled well enough to use it:

The augment sucks for that weapon, but oh well. It's still perfect for T5 and under escalations.

And after a stupid amount of rerolls I finally got a quad-blue Investor that only took a few optimizations to completely max out. Not sure what to do with it yet. It's ok on the Backfire build, but I don't think the 3% regen beats having 24% PfE socketed into a Chill Out mask. Tried it on a Striker build with the First Bloom too, and again I think it's beaten out by Hollow Man or just using Overdogs.
