That for sure wasn't what I just had. I can't remember but I'm pretty sure I've had the ultimate chicken sandwich before and it wasn't this terrible.

Not sure if it’s the same thing as you’re talking about, but they had an island fire chicken sandwich and burger for awhile that was really good

Glad y'all have been mentioning chorizo
I've paused at it at the grocery many times, but I had never heard of it before and backed out each time

On a side note, passing through NC and stopped at a place called Pei Wei
Was delicious. Kid portions were redonk. So he had his fill and I cleaned up.
Everything was great
Would bang again

Pei Wei is amazing, but they've gotten more expensive over the years. Like most everything else though.

Pei Wei's Mongolian beef is fucking amazing.

Also, try their wontons. I'm not usually a fan but their sweet and spicy dipping sauce for them is amazing.

Pei Wei's kung pao beef is really good as well. Pei Wei in general is good stuff.

I've never seen an actually restaurant myself (airport isn't impossible though that I've passed by one - I rarely eat in airport cafes, woman is terrified of layovers so no real reason to ever bother) - but I'm pretty sure they've got some grocery items in the frozen case IIRC.

There are several around here(that are not in airports). It's ok. I wouldn't drive out of my way to get it, but I've enjoyed it the times we've gone.

I stopped at Hardee's on my way home from New's late Saturday afternoon. We had gone out Friday to the casino.drank lots of G and T...I won 80 bucks on penny slots...he won a couple hundred on baccarat...we stopped by the Eat Rite diner in St. Louis city...ate copious amounts of food..I had eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes and pancakes. New had a Slinger.. look it up, pancakes and a cheeseburger. Then we stopped at the truck stop and got ice cream treats and he got a ham and cheese sandwich that he ate at home after crisping it in the toaster oven.
Anyway...Sat afternoon Hardee's. .I had their 5 buck meal and it was good...would buy again...three really good sized chicken strips...hot, crispy, juicy yum...fries, tea and a chocolate chip cookie. Sun I weighed 2 pounds LESS than I did Friday....
there is a lesson in there somewhere for me.

New ate a lot more food than I did but it was super late and I was starving. I can put away some grub...I used to eat way the hell more than G...Today my intake was much smaller and healthier...apple, protein bar, roast beef on high fiber low carb bread, a big salad of mixed greens and tomatoes with low cal high protein greek yogurt dressing and a couple of cups of watermelon. It is a balance of yummy badness and yummy goodness over the course of time.

I needed a vehicle for the cold roast beef and sliced tomatoes and that was what I had. It was still yummy but now all the roast is gone and I am going to have to make something else tomorrow...maybe shrimp stir fry.

I got accustomed to the "Healthy Life" bread with G.. low sodium, high fiber, carb and calorie restricted...
Plus it would appear, read: am...choosing Dove ice cream bars, beer, wine and liquor for my bonus carbs.
I do like good bread but it goes bad before I can eat it. :(
