Every time I drive by my local Wendy's it's a ghost town. I remember when there was always a line at the drive-thru. I rarely see that anymore. It's sad the company is going downhill so quickly.

Same, I remember me and the boyos would hit this one Wendy's for late night food and there was typically a line of cars there. Wasn't it Wendy's that was talking about shifting their prices dependent on time of day / traffic, or am I way off?

I grab a palmier from them when I shop at the grocery store now and then. Messy, so I eat it in the parking lot outside my car. I also tend to like their savory things with meat.

Just paid $17.89 for the Arby's Brisket Mac meal, and they didn't even give me my fries. I won't be back to Arby's, ever.

If I had to put a fair value price on it, $7.99 tops... if they gave me my fucking fries.

Shrinkflation has hit them especially hard. You have to get the DOUBLE beef and cheddar just to get the same amount of meat that used to be in a classic beef & cheddar.

Speaking of shrinkflation has anyone tried asking for more meat at Chipotle without being charged yet? The CEO said it was possible now.

I remember being a child and getting the 5 arbies roast beef sandwiches for $5. I remember my mother staring at me as if I was some sort of child savage as I ate all 5.

I dont do that any more of course because im 42 but its a fond memory.

Now it's your wife and children staring at you as if you were some sort of savage?

I mean they are $6.29 per classic roast beef sandwich near me so as much as I would like to scare them into submission there are other ways.

if I am spending over $30 to assert dominance through food im getting a steak.

Have these been mentioned? Def not new by any means, but I just tried them for the first time with my lunch today. I usually don't get sweets from fast food places, but tossed em on my order today for some reason. Dangerous for the calorie count....I could eat 10 of each.

They're disgusting compared to the old caramel apple empanada.

The new ones are tinier, the crust is thicker and tougher, the filling is not as creamy and and the chocolate one was even worse.

I mentioned them a ways back. Mine were dried out and all the filling was dried to the inside of the hard, nasty crust. The chocolate one was marginally more "fresh" but they were both so tiny that for the cost I will never buy them again even if they are perfectly made.

The scale on that pic indicates to me that those hands are from one of those tiny adults that are only 4' tall. Not the fat-fingered midget kind, but those little doll girls.

I guess I am easy to please haha.

They were small for sure, why I could mash 20 of them. Mine though, they were nice and warm and full of filling. Maybe I got lucky and got some that were made fresh.
