Won on McDonald's monopoly. My free prize? "FOOD". Hell yeah, I love "FOOD".

Guess it comes out to a 10 piece McNugget or a Double cheeseburger which isn't bad. Also checked my local McDonald's and a DBQ Meal is only $10.59, maybe nature is healing. The McDoubles being $2.59 is a kick in the dick though. McChickens are like $1.69. They both might be 2 for $3 still, unsure.

Bummed we didn't get the Cinnamon Apple Iced Coffee here. Sounded better than their current offerings to me.

I tried these. They are ok, you can taste hints of both flavors and I don't hate it, but it is way too faint of a flavor so you barely notice that's what you are eating. Would probably be a lot better with double the flavor powder. But isn't that usually the case?

I'm in Portland, so my fast food habits skew toward whatever's close on a busy day. What surprises me is how much regional variety exists — a chain that's everywhere back East is often absent here, and local spots fill that gap. Curious whether the thread is mostly about national chains or if people are weighing in on regional ones too. Either way, it's a fun topic that never really runs out of material.

The area on S Federal is an Asian enclave.

Right next door to the place I went is a great Bahn Mi spot, a couple good Pho places within 500ft, and many other good food spots and markets in the few surrounding blocks North and South.

That area is a bit west of DU. Lots of college kids in those neighborhoods, so lots of places like that.

Alright guys, smashing some Sour patch kids wings. I don't know what to think about them. I went in expecting to hate them and instead they are firmly in the category of not bad to try, but really not something I'd want to eat a lot of. They have a slightly fruity taste more than anything, but each bite the fruity flavor seems to change a little. They are somehow growing on me as I eat them. I feel dirty ranking this as around a B-.

Matching it with this. These chips are also somehow working on me. The gravy and rosemary tastes are most forward. For me it works surprisingly. I wouldn't want them plain, but with a bit of sour cream to cool them down surprisingly nice. B+.

I'll have to report back when I get desert. DQ's blizzard of the month is purple potato (ube), which everyone knows is the BEST kitkat S++ tier flavor ever. Super pumped.

Matcha and Dark Chocolate are superior in my opinion.

If you have a Filipino store nearby, you can get Ube ice cream. It's decent.

Just tried these, they're pretty good. They do, indeed, have a zing to them. After eating about half a tube of them I'm sitting here with pleasant after burn.

Yeah, I gave that flavor an A+, definitely a great one. Their guacamole flavor recently is also pretty good, i think an A-, but Asian zing was better.
