I'm not entirely sure how I'd sequence The Wire, Deadwood and Breaking Bad.

Deadwood
The Wire
...
...
...
Breaking Bad

I really liked Breaking Bad but it wasn't on par with the other two in my opinion.

Hard one. New shows tend to rank higher in most peoples minds because they've seen them recently and its still fresh in memory.

Goin purely on rewatches I'd have to say Band of Brothers, I've watched it about 5 times which I've never done with any other TV series. Its just that good. 24 also holds a special place for me, always loved jack bauer and the bonus of that theme song that brings me right back to the best years of my life. Breaking bad was great, but I tried watching it again and I could only make it a few episodes.. it just felt really slow.

Anyways, the answer is clearly Battlestar Galactica.

The Wire is overrated. It's a good show, but it's still just a standard crime drama. I watched the whole series for the first time last year and I don't see what all the insane hype was about. Fifth season storyline with the fake serial killer was stupid as hell.

Lost was great at the time because it was a fantastic water cooler show to discuss and wonder about. In hindsight, it was just a big fucking tease with no clear storyline or ending.

Spartacus was super fun to watch, but it could be pretty cringey at times with awful acting and 1AM skinemax levels of softcore porn.

Game of Thrones is great on the first watch because it's got unexpected deaths and a fantastic, intricate storyline. It has almost zero rewatch value because all the story and surprise is gone.

The answer is Seinfeld. Funny at the time, infinitely rewatchable, and a huge cultural impact. If you didn't find it funny it means you're a bad person, so it's great as a test of character, too.

It's better than Law & Order. What I mean is that it isn't particularly inventive or groundbreaking. It's about a bunch of cops, lawyers, and politicians who deal with the same cliched storylines that you see on most other shows/movies of the genre. It has HBO's higher production quality, but I don't think that makes it the best show ever.

I fully admit I might be biased because I have to suffer going into Baltimore on a regular basis, and anything to do with that shithole of a city makes me angry.

I kind of agree with Cheese where Wire seems overrated. Is it good? Yes. But everyone talks it up like it is this mindblowing series and I honestly just thought it was a really good TV show. I think I may have actually enjoyed Oz more than The Wire.

Comedy Sci Fi: Red Dwarf
Monster of the week: Highlander
Regular SciFi: I'm torn between the original BSG and farscape
Regular Comedy: Married with Children
Animated sci fi: torn between rick and morty, and Futurama
Regular animated: Torn between boon docks and south park, but SP probably wins due to the limited number of seasons boon docks has put out.

As you can see, I can't make a decision.

This might be recency bias speaking but I wanna add Hannibal to the list. I watched this one a few weeks ago in a binge and really felt like its a masterpiece. Mainly Mads Mikkelsen taking the Hannibal character to another level. I'd never have thought someone could outdo Hopkins.
