Tried to listen to this but her and Joe didn't seem to vibe so turned it off. I think there are some legitimate concerns surrounding sex robots though. You think the breakdown of nuclear families is bad now? Wait until every man and woman has the option of a docile fuck robot that tells us what we want to hear and gets blowjob technique updates via starlink weekly.

Yeah but how many guys, on this very forum, would completely replace any female pursuit with whatever gen1 fuckbot they come up with? Probably much less than women. What she talks about with women needing/wanting to be desired is a real thing and quite widespread. We can make a robot that sucks good dick but it's next level shit to make a robot that cares about a person and has its own desires and needs.

Women are almost entirely worthless aside from the sex part. I love my girlfriend, but I do literally everything she does..better. Having a female around is like a half-assed version of myself. And the companionship portion? I'd almost always rather be hanging with my male buddies because we can relate to each other vastly better. Plus, they aren't so goddamn sensitive when it comes to talking shit.
About the only times where I actually prefer my girlfriend being around vs. my bros is when we vacation to the coast each year. 99% of the time I'd rather be shooting guns, watching violent movies, and calling each other faggots. Like I said, if it wasn't for the sex/attraction portion, I'd have nothing to do with females outside of work interactions. I can't wait for fembots.

Creating life is the most important thing we as human's do. I mean I get what you're saying but is it weird to anyone else that we completely disregard this in a way that I don't think any other generation ever has? Fairly early in my marriage and one of the biggest things I've learned is that women, whether they like it or not, are highly geared toward rearing children. If you devalue their abilities or tendencies with that in mind then you'll find little to no value in women. Obvious exceptions apply.
While you can't apply that to an individual woman, you'll have trouble not applying it to women in general.

I totally get it. I was someone who early on knew that kids wasn't something I ever really wanted in life. At 33 (my girlfriend was 36), we froze embryos as an "insurance" policy in case I ever came around. I can tell that she'd be a phenomenal mother - based on how she interacts with my nieces and nephews. However, I have such a hard time wanting to bring a child into 2020 America, especially since he'd be a white male.

In this hypothetical scenario, "fembots" would be almost indistinguishable from real women. Obviously, based on the tech we have today, this wouldn't be much better than simply jerking off. I'm approaching it from a standpoint that in 30-50 years, we have fembots which will do all the "sexual" things that a real woman does. Flirt, naughty pics, sexting, the whole nine.

Yeah man, men don't want to be lonely. But lonliness is different for a man and a woman, generally speaking. And we're talking about tech that doesn't exist yet, not quite. What she is talking about is a robot that looks and probably feels indistinguishable from a real woman, yet is a personal slave for everything from fucking to house work to whatever. Look how much we've adapted our lives for the cell phone, I bet when the fuckbots get here it is way worse.
