She's a meathead that got into action movies/shows. She's not someone that's necessarily going to be eloquent in a public speaking venue/interview. The interview was fine for what it was. She got to tell her side of the story but obviously didn't want to just throw everyone under the bus.
she NEVER wants to throw anyone under the bus, which is kind of her whole point and what makes her... well, attractive. she genuinely just wants people to stop hating each other for arbitrary reasons.

Right. Her wanting to not throw people under the bus made the interview awkward in spots. Aside from interviews not being particularly in her wheelhouse to begin with.

keep in mind carano's family owns a bunch of casinos and stuff in vegas, she has a lot of money behind her if she really wants to go that way. They own Caesars and her dad was an NFL quarterback for the Cowboys

thats interesting, Carl Weathers was also an NFL player years earlier. i can see her dad and Carl getting along pretty well. glad they cant fuck her over financially. after this Shapiro movie gimmick is over its gonna get tough for her to get work. BTW i think Ben Shapiro is a fucking asshole, so i am biased against anything he is involved with.

If you listened to the interview you'd have heard she has no interest in any of that.

Making her own money was one of the things that got her into fighting. She had a desire to be financially independent, and said she doesn't like money held over her head.

yeah, gina was pretty notorious for struggling to make weight for fights. though, that's probably more because there were so few women to fight, she had to fight in a lower weight division than she should have had to

I thought it was a big problem for all the female fighters. I heard somewhere (probably on Joe Rogan) that the women have a tougher time with it than men.

from what i understand, (i never really watched much mma so i could be off) but i'm pretty sure it's because, like i said with gina, there's significantly less female fighters which messes with the weight divisions. you can't have gina coming in at 155 and expect it to be a fair fight with some 120 pounder. but if you spread out the divisions like they do with the men, you'd end up with the same 2 or 3 people fighting each other all the time

isn’t just female. You see lots of male athletes and fighters pack on the fat after retiring as well. Makes sense: you eat a certain way and have tons of training, then the training goes away and your diet might change as well

That is not what we're talking about. Fighters have to make weight before each fight. Most of them have to cut the weight and it's really harsh the way they do it. There's a whole science to doing it right because there's a real chance of fucking up your organs if you do it wrong. What I'm saying that I heard is that women are a lot more likely to miss that weight at weigh in. And it's retarded because the fight still goes on. They just lose part of their purse.

I get what you're saying and that this is what the various state fight commissions think, but I disagree. UFC needs to go back to no weight classes. One of the last of the original format fights they did was the David vs Goliath tournament where they purposely matched small guys with large guys. It proved that smaller guys can whip big guys. I think round 1 was an even split between davids and goliaths winning, and the final winner was a david.
