There’s so much hilarious stuff in the first 4 episodes I had forgotten about, like the hoisted by your own retard, anything involving Jonah.I've been rewatching Veep this past week. It's way too accurate

Veep and Idiocracy need to be granted their own special category of "Films and shows which STARTED as a comedy and BECAME documentaries"
I really don't know who my favorite character was but I fell like it was Ben and Kent. The show had way to many funny charactersThere’s so much hilarious stuff in the first 4 episodes I had forgotten about, like the hoisted by your own retard, anything involving Jonah.
Liam doesn't use the facial expressions too much. He does some but for the most part it's just...his resting bitch face I guess.Nielsen used facial expressions and body comedy a whole lot more+better than Nisson. Did he even try? I was watching the same old tired face.
Are your local theaters cultural enrichment zones?Still haven't managed to make time to go see this, which at this point probably means waiting for VOD or the high seas.
One reviewer that tends to have the same opinions as I do about films said this and it has given me some pause...
"It's a great imitation of a Zucker and Zucker film, but it's an imitation."
But in this day and age that's probably enough for a good time at the theater I guess. heh
They're ghost towns.... On the border between my neighborhood and a more Latino/Asian one. Not too many active jogging trails around though. When we recently went to see FF, it was second weekend and there were maybe a dozen total people in the theater. But at least it has an IMAX screen for the occasional thing we want to see in huge ass screen mode. Are your local theaters cultural enrichment zones?
I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case across America. They're ghost towns....
What does a primetime movie or a weekday matinee even cost now? Do you have to take out a second mortgage for popcorn and a drink?I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case across America.
Since everybody's favorite pandemic I have only seen my theater PACKED and mean, parking lot full, long lines for food and to get into the theater itself...twice. Two! Top Gun Maverick and Deadpool and Wolverine. That's it. Everything else is as you said... Ghost town. Can count on one hand the number of people in the building and most of them are employees.
They went full TickermasterFandango and/or Cinemark is now including a convenience fee straight in the ticket price now. On top of the typical raises for the premium theaters that's basically +$2+$3 on each ticket compared to 24 months ago.
Neither convenient nor affordable and they wonder why we don't go.
