I quite enjoyed the Enola Holmes movies. She was fine in them.

I heard the first season was good on Enola. I thought they were series not movies

Netflix finally getting some good Tv shows:

they added 9m new subs (compared to an expected < 2m) most of them probably people who lost access to family plans. that probably will start winding down end of this year and prices will keep going up

There is no gay sex scenes or even overt gay characters, that I remember, it's just hinted at, in parts (there is girl/girl stuff though).

The first 2 seasons are great, the 3rd season is still good, and the 4th season is above average when compared with most everything on TV today. Plus it has one of the best intro's ever made.

Watched the first 4 episodes of Black Sails. This show is good, not sure why I never watched it before.

Great dialogue, great characters, great acting.

i'll give you a pro tip, just fast forward anytime eleanor guthrie or max are on screen, unless they are naked. way better show done that way and you will not miss a single thing

the tits are pretty fucking awesome in s1 & s2 too

Wat? You might as well just not watch the show if you were going to do that. Eleanor Guthrie is just as pivotal to the plot as any of the other characters.

Now, if you said the scenes with Eleanor AND Max talking about some side quest bullshit, then maybe, sure, but I doubt it would be apparent which scenes pertain to the side quest bullshit, for a first time viewer.

nah, they are just 2 movies. its got Henry Cavill in it as Sherlock, but he's barely in it. Enola is the star and there are some hilarious race swaps in this.
