gets detailed knowledge of military and technological advancement for 7 years in the future.
Uses it to break up with her boyfriend, and not stopping a war before it happens, advancing moclan relations, or anything.

Great episode. The music and scenery were the best. Really felt like a star trek episode from the beginning. Best sci-fi show on tv right and it would be sad if this doesn't get renewed.

Pretty boring episode imo. Star trek had waaaaay better finales, even discovery's was less boring and that's pretty sad. The only cool part was 5 seconds of Alara.

I think everything will change and she will have to put it back together. Easy to predict.

Just watched it, great episode. For a time travel, alternate reality episode they actually did quite well with it.

Sorry... Kelly needs food.

Her head and shoulders just don't match the ULTRA stick that is the rest of her with some little nasty bolt ons.

I didn't notice her body until they stuck her in that sweater and those leggings and in that cheapo wig. The Orville will be coming back for season 3, but you can be sure their wardrobe department won't be. It takes a real lack of talent to make an ordinary woman look like a methed out transvestite.

Glad the shows shows really coming into its own, bummed this season is already done. Slow start and really came in strong at the end.

I hope we start to see some war episodes next season and I’m glad they went more connected storyline this season than single stand alone episodes.

I normally don't comment on nasty bolt-ons, but they were out for 80% of the episode, you can't NOT notice. It's like oranges on a piece of plywood :*( /puke

I never understand why people get operations like that.

You'd think artificially super intelligent robots would be better aims. They've got like a 2% hit rate in this episode.

Edit -- and now they're hiding inside a black hole, lol wtf

Sorry... Kelly needs food.

Apparently she has celiac's disease. If it's a real case and not "gluten sensitivity", that can seriously fuck you up, even aside from the perverse unhealthy Hollywood body issues. A friend of mine has it bad and she literally has to go to the hospital for a couple days of IVs if she eats food made in a kitchen with wheat flour present.

I dislike most of the maclan stuff (mostly just due to abundance), but the nightclub scene was great lol.

IT WAS GLORIOUS!

I'm going to learn that dance and do it at a club my wife wants me to take her to.

yea i had a coworker w/ legit celiacs disease (not the "i'm gluten free by choice" bullshit), he was the only guy approved to eat steak at every dinner for expenses.

one time we went to a restaurant and they had "gluten free" bread, he made the waitress know he needs it to be 100% legit gluten free.

he took one bite and said "fuck this tastes too good" and was sick the whole night.

when we picked him up in the morning, he looked like he was in solitary confinement, he basically shat out everything that you could shit out, and looked like death.

Kind of random, but I read something a while back about stool transplants helping cure some of these types of diseases by virtue of giving the person a healthy microbiome. It's had success with Crohn's Disease and I think they also had hopes for Celiacs Disease.

They have freeze dried poop pills that can do this too supposedly. Though I shudder thinking of the burp aftertaste once that capsul breaks in your stomach.

So uhhhh, the union can time travel now, huh? I don't recall anything happening to destroy the crystal or the research. Looks like it's pretty damned easy too, it's the mind wipe that was difficult. Not only that, but the people in the real timeline have no way of knowing how dangerous it is because they are unaware of the fuckup. Maybe they're going to assume they can't do anything in the past to affect the present and shelve the technology on their own?

Jordan Peterson says you can just eat unseasoned steak and nothing else. That should sort out the celiac disease.

Did the doctor just stay in the past? Or did she disppear in a poof of paradox when the alternate timeline collapsed and she no longer went to the past? Or did she go back to the future and she's now the only one that remembers the alternate timeline?

Time travel the first time blew up the Orville didn't it?

I mean that's an issue NOW - but I assume they could make something specific to power it.

It's like how stupid the plot to the first St TNG movie was... friggen dude could have stolen a shuttle and flew into the damn ribbon thing.
