he put a face on his giant stone cock. its pretty sad that most early carvings are of dicks and tits, though not surprising at all.
A large share of early internet packets were devoted to dicks and tits.

In fact, until Netflix and Youtube came along, porn was the largest single usage of internet bandwidth by a large margin.

people dont really change, its part of what i post here, Ancient civilizations werent any less intelligent than we are today, perhaps they were even smarter because they could read the stars in a way many of us would have no idea about. they were also able to carve and transport hundred ton stones many miles across mountains and bodies of water using just stone and soft metal tools.

The *average* human was definitely smarter thousands of years ago, because you needed to be more intelligent just to survive. Once humans invented things like bricks and bread and plumbing, you could survive even if you were pretty stupid.

However, due to having billions of people now, the bell curve is much wider, and the outlier IQ humans are millions of times more frequent and the smartest among them reach further extremes. And now we have literal network effects where the smartest people can all talk to each other very easily no matter where in the world they were born.

sure, we came to this point based on previous inventions and improvements of them spanning thousands of years. a lot has been lost to time. we're lucky to have found lost inventions like The Antikythera Mechanism to remind us where we came from and that ancient man had his shit together long before we came along.
