I think Grusch is legitimate. He was just hesitant and had weird body language on a couple of things which gave me the impression he didn't actually know all of the answers, and was supplying secondhand info on some of them. None of that means he's illegitimate though. All of this is very interesting, and the military-industrial complex's role in trying to reverse-engineer the craft to get ahead of competitors is very believable. Lot of people wonder "why would the government cover this up for so long?" when it's pretty simple, they're trying to gain an advantage over competitors. Any country that successfully reverse-engineers anything from craft will end up a generation ahead of their nearest competitor, if not beyond that. That potential advantage fades quite a bit if the competition knows what you're doing and isn't in the dark. What better reason COULD there be to cover it up? So yeah, it's all very interesting.
