I'll wait until the full season is out to watch, but same. Mildly sad they axed it, but will love the original story. Gaiman may be a trash tier human being, but before he got famous and abused it he made some seriously good stories.

It was a very proglib story, even for the 90s. The scifi and fantasy elements were great. Then people started trying to make them reality for the past decade or so.

This still has some woke but the budget was increased. They spent some money for this season. Its pretty good. The only thing I was kind of wondering was why Sandman did not just bring his son into his realm. In the realm of Dream, the son could have had both his body and his wife. It technically would not be real but then how do you define real in this show. The idea was not even considered.

It is a fun watch.

oh just looked it up, its even gayer than you think. 6 episodes out July 3d (now). 5 more episodes out July 24th. A final 12th episode out July 31st.

I liked it well enough. There were some parts that were weak. I actually enjoyed the last story, better than the main one.

I will say it is interesting how it appears that 50% of the population is gay in that world. I feel like that would have a detrimental effect on population growth.

Finished S2. It handled the rest of the comic book stories well enough. And the final ep was originally a 4 part miniseries separate from the main Sandman comics, also handled decently.

Netflix. And Gaiman. He was pushing all that shit in the 80s and 90s. In the Sandman comics pretty heavily.
