My dad has an extensive vinyl collection. Like three whole walls worth, floor to ceiling. Room smells like you think it would smell.

The turntable is some shit he spent like 10k on. I never understood this...That's like spending 500 dollars on a damn toaster. You're just browning bread, spinning a record.

Bought these b/c the left stick rubber coating ripped on my PowerA wireless XBox controller. The realized I don't have the patience to take apart, remove the PCB, replace the whole stick, and put everything back together. Can I just buy the pads and stick them on? Don’t see why not but wasn’t sure if anyone else had a better version or method.

That's absolutely not true. There are many things on a turn table that can affect the sound. Now is a 10k turn table worth it? To me no.
