I too first came at Tan with an olive branch. I remember the post. I had never heard of Thunderfoot or GG or Anita or anything, I just clicked on the Gamergate thread one day after having avoided it for a couple months. I read Tanoomba's stuff for the first time (I hadn't read the rape thread in SS yet and I never got involved with Trayvon and Zimmerman) and thought he was well spoken enough to persuade with reason. I actually was thinking, "I want him on my team", in a certain way. I'm not sure what that means but it was what was in my heart at the time. I was like 'Oh man, you're such a good forum soldier! It would be awesome if you'd hurry up and drop one or two of the more childish assumptions you have. We could have fun!". He responded by essentially accusing me of being part of Thunderfoot's supposed army of mind-controlled drones and dismissed me as a troll.
Actually, fanaskin +'d me for making the post and advised me that it wouldn't work, that Tan doesn't respond to olive branches. And you know what? Fana was right on the money. And he has been this entire time. Each time someone comes forward to engage him, he ossifies his obstinacy even more.
The dude is absolutely glued to Anita. Her Little Red General. It helps to see him as a cult member I think. I'm not saying he is exactly, just that it helps to explain the mind set.

This is probably at least the fourth time I address this, but I don't give a shit about Fana's lack of capitalization. At all. Nor do I care about spelling mistakes, minor grammatical errors or even poor word choice as long as I can understand the message. Fana just has a remarkable knack for making posts I legitimately don't understand. I swear to Christ I have no idea what kind of response he was trying to get out of me there. If he'd like to try again, I'd be more than happy to attempt to address his concerns.

I remember when everyone was quick to congratulate him on defeating me with his supposed evidence-based claim that killing taxi drivers was just as popular as killing hookers in GTA (of course they were, it suit their narrative). It took a minimum of effort to expose how that was completely ridiculous, and the evidence was overwhelmingly on my side. The funny part is that we already inherently KNEW THAT, but we decided to suspend disbelief because it meant having a laugh at Tanoomba's expense. This is a recurring theme in discussions I participate in.
Another time, he claimed that Sarkeesian was only focusing on white men when she claimed that "Each time an angry YouTuber with 250k+ fans decides to slander & strawman me the harassment increases exponentially." He claimed she was ignoring Boxxy, a popular Youtuber with more than 250k fans. When I pointed out that Boxxy never made a Sark vid and the screencap he THOUGHT was Boxxy was someone else (with nowhere near 250k fans), he simply refused to believe it. He certainly never found a video that supported his case. To this day he's still pretending he wasn't wrong about that.

It's ALWAYS been about exposing blatant hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty among people who claim to be above that shit.
