I knew full well that what I was doing fell under YOUR definition of "shitting up threads". From my perspective, I was engaging in a good-faith, sincere and honest discussion. It just so happens that there are some topics that some people here really suck at discussing, and they completely lose their shit when they can't defend their point properly (usually because it's an indefensible point).

I'm not "willfully trolling". I'm "willfully pointing out hypocrisy". From your perspective there's no difference and you see me as a troll. From my perspective, I'm forcing ideologues to smell their own shit. Am I surprised that makes people angry? Of course not. But this isn't an SJW board and I don't have to censor myself to protect your feels (well, beyond posting in here, anyway).

This is something of a false dichotomy. It isn't an either/or choice with you...it's both. Where you veer into pure trolling territory is when you obstinately refuse to budge and derail threads for weeks/months, similar to what you're doing here right now (except no one cares about threads in the Rickshaw...or at least, they shouldn't). You try to use things like "I express unpopular opinions" or "I am just pointing out hypocrisy" as a shield, while refusing to acknowledge that your insistence on derailing threads into pointless unsolvable debates that revolve around you are what actually turns threads into shit. This is where you usually roll out something like "Well, people don't have to argue with me", but no one buys your passive-aggressive argument trolling.

The short of it is he intentionally tries to be unpopular and a hypocrite, because it trolls easy marks. It's cheat-code trolling. And that makes it pure faggotry. When you can't play a game on normal mode, you are tourist, a faggot and wasting everyone's energy.

Also... Derail? My posts have always been on topic and in the proper threads, usually in direct response to something someone else posted.

Unsolvable debates? They're entirely solvable if some people would get the sticks out of their asses and admit they were wrong once in a while.

Also, I can't "forcefully" anything. I'm one guy with no power who can only post words. How people choose to react to that is not my responsibility.

I may 100% disagree with a_skeleton_03 and his vision of moderation and rules, but the funny thing here is that the odds of you being hammered 'against the rules' and then having Mods and perhaps the community overturn your punishments is pretty close to zero. I don't like that the RAW means that it's something of a popularity contest due to voting, but then again, grats on spending years making yourself massively unpopular across the board, I guess?

What do you mean "on this forum of all places"? We may have a wide variety of opinions on a wide variety of topics, but there are some topics for which much of this community has downright religious beliefs. When it comes to SJW shit, it has always been all-or-nothing, with us or against us, us vs them. It is the one topic where people have allowed themselves to ignore logic and reason in favor of passing judgment from a supposed moral high ground. Because of this, people unknowingly say hypocritical and/or downright retarded shit all the time, and everyone lets them get away with it because it reinforces their own need to pass judgment on an agreed-upon "enemy".

So no, a_skeleton_03, the "when you think everyone's an asshole, you're the asshole" adage doesn't apply when that "everyone" is part of a cult.
