I used to hate-watch this show and remain entertained, but this shit is just stupid now. I suppose their idea of a compelling villain is someone who talks his enemies' fucking heads off. And now they've introduced some obnoxious, jocular jester who will undoubtedly become a fixture on this show.

This show is what happens when liberals write republican survival stories.

Hiding guns was foreshadowing the hiding of Maggie, it will come back to bite them in the ass.

Yeah, I'm bored with Negan. Once you take away his torture porn moments, he is really vanilla. That was fine in his first episode, and I actually like his monologues in that first episode, but now it's like he is on a loop and is repeating the same thing over and over again. Dude, we get it. You are witty and get off on using extreme measures to exert your will, what's next? It just felt like an hour and half long G-rated rewrite of the premier. And I know the conflict between Rick and Negan won't get full steam until next season (going off how they paced things in the past).

Rick doesn't just have to sell the cuck act to Negan, he has to sell it to his own people so they don't do anything stupid. He has to keep that shit real to keep everyone alive until there's an opportunity.

Also, lingering shot of giant morse code alphabet taking up a wall, soon followed by Daryl blinking at Rick like Jake Gyllenhall in Prisoners.

if you watch a game and the team that you hate, loses a big game, you cheer. if you have to watch them moping around crying about it for 60-90 minutes every sunday night for 3 weeks afterwards, are you still cheering?

These are my feelings as well, I stopped watching the show somewhere after the big prison showdown and only picked it up again because I heard that Rick got kicked in the balls. Now I'm reminded of why I stopped watching again; all of the unlikable characters, time killing dramatic stares, whiny speeches and arguing. The shows writers were never good at moderation but now, just to make it worse, we have Negan parading about for 45 minutes strait as everyone mopes around until they learn about the other slave camps and organize a joint rebellion at the end of the season. Maybe I'll watch the finale.

Man, that is a terrible analogy, but if we must relate it to sports: what you're expecting to happen with Rick at this point is like expecting the Browns to win the Superbowl this year.

Rick is only pretending to be a bitch to get out from under Negan's microscope. In the last few seconds of the final episode he'll say something dramatic like "Coral, bring me my machete. It's time."

sorry, its the best i can do. i dont know what the browns situation is as i dont follow football. but if they lose every week and people still somehow still watch hoping they win then yeah its a similar situation with me. but the difference is, you know you will see a fun game and you cant be sure your team will lose, there is a chance they may win. rick's crew right now? there is no chance they may win, they have been cucked and are eating shit for the last 3 weeks. i dont want to watch losers, i dont watch the browns and right now i dont want to watch this.
