I was more wondering about the part where they made it sound like they took on the mighty French in battle and succeeded.

Looked it up and they got fucking steamrolled. Unsurprisingly.

Looks like the French suffered about 4x as many casualties from disease in Africa than they did at the hands of the enemy.

I honestly thought this was a joke. Clearly I'm not up on African history, because I thought Dahomey was literally a play on "the homey."

It's historically based and written about africa. So obviously its gonna have a whole lotta shaniquas. Good.

Most of us shitlords only have a problem when black people andor women get forced into roles as social justice tokens. Black panther was a really good movie. Denzel is one of the best actors of all time. If this movie looks solid I'll watch it and maybe enjoy it. I don't care if it's black people - as long as it's not forced sjw shit that doesn't belong.

Social justice is more than casting blacks in white roles. Something tells me this movie is in no way shape or form going to accurately portray what was going on in that time frame.

Also black panther was shit.
