Because everyone knew it would. Deadpool vs Wolverine is easy, just like Avengers will generally be easy. This had every opportunity to be bad, and not only is it not bad, its apparently pretty great, funny and fun.

Probably also because D&W was really more "MCU Adjacent" than anything. Yes, it's the official "linking" of the cinematic universes on some level, but I believe they still established that it was still a "different timeline" etc... Also, D&W had far more autonamous control over it's writing/casting/production than the mainline MCU films "the machine" cranks out.
This movie should be compared to the "MCU as a product, consume more product" movies.

Budget is reported $150m so seems pretty good. $150m seems right, not a ton of CGI and the action set pieces were short and pretty contained. Cap4 allegedly had a budget of $180m but no one really believes that especially with 3+ weeks of reshoots.
I think after the disappointment of Cap4 its nice to see Marvel hasn't lost it completely. If F4 is just as good then people will be hyped for Doomsday next year.
This movie is also a return to no weirdos or agenda pushing in the movie, which is all I want out of Hollywood big tentpole movies. Do your gay/tranny/ugly people shit in small movies, i won't watch them and everyone is happy.

The only part that made me cringe was the first section of the final post credit scene.
Having the group come together was nice, Having the "New" Captain America throw a tissy over the use of Avengers by injunction was bullshit and stupid. Way to make everyone hate the new Captain America even more. I seriously rolled my eyes at that scene. So yes, some of the stupid is still a part of the system.

Tbh based on his "review" I am not entirely convinced he went and watched and and thought he could wing a video. Based on his Andor S2 review I am not sure he understands writing at all tbh.

Sentry is cool. The Void is cool. Movie is generally getting good reviews and strong audience scores and 4-5 people in the thread liked it. Cool Ill go see it.
