Is her bra on backwards in this pic? Or she's like an owl and has turned her head around 180 so that's her back? Right? because if not, then we need to face the fact that I probably have a nicer rack.
You didn't watch Oppenheimer?

She looks much more attractive in Oppenheimer than she does in that pic, by far. She has a kind of square face and body and a lot of her real life looks accentuate that instead of minimize it.

I always think of Pugh as the anti-Brie Larson.

Personality-wise, she comes across as quite charming, in press and Black Widow / Hawkeye.

Physically, she's near the bottom of Marvel gals, with her squat stature, pug nose, minimal breasts, and (lack of) muscle tone. (Not that Evangeline Lilly was done any favors by Marvel either.)

Is that adjusted for inflation or just raw numbers? Seems like it should be a bigger turd than this.
Adjusted for inflation, it's in a dead heat for second worst with The Eternals, within a million of each other, depending on which inflation index you're using.
If anything overtakes The Marvels, the franchise is over.

That makes more sense.

I don't even download these movies anymore. They're all slop.

My time is still worth more than what I'm willing to give up for this crap.
Standard modern movie. Watch the first 5 minutes and turn it off, or watch the last 5 minutes and turn it off.

When they turned into blackened smudges I assumed one of them would complain to Bucky how horrible it was to be turned into ash, then Bucky could say:

They really gotta stick with the money makers; what are effectively "new" IPs being inserted into the MCU have shown repeatedly that they aren't going to do well without some absurd word of mouth and a very talented director at the helm. G.O.G. is an anomaly; not an average. When you start just inserting storylines for IPs that aren't popular even among comic book nerds (relatively speaking) you're going to have a hard time pulling in normies. The comic book nerds will take their kids and then shit all over it if it is not faithful, but being faithful means having to put what is almost always going to be absolute schlock on screen. Most comic storylines are complete nonsense trash and have been for like 3/4 a century at this point. The few standout stories are typically written by actual writers (Miller, etc) and the overwhelming majority are written by "comic book writers" which are D-tier on their average day.

Marvel rode the goodwill of some very charismatic actors and competent directors/writers to some extremely popular movies, and those movies alone are the only reason shit like Thunderbolts or any of the C through D tier content gets made into movies. And in almost all cases, they vastly under perform because the source material is schlocky trash, and they aren't putting their best and brightest up when it comes to adaptations or directing.

I ordered 5 of these movies with a steelbook case. Amazon shipped it out in a fucking paper bag that ripped open before it made it to me. All 5 of these things arrived damaged, and they're currently out of stock to order more. Pain in the fucking ass. Retards at Amazon. Who the fuck would ship this in a paper bag mailer and not a box?

Interesting. I ordered some shit for work like a mount for my pneumatic nail guns to hang on and it came in a Ziploc bag. That's it....just a fucking Ziploc bag. No standard Amazon packaging, not in an envelope or box. Just a Ziploc bag.

I also ordered a mountable desk power strip for work and it was delivered in paper instead of a box. I don't know what the fuck Amazon is doing but you're not the only one getting shit like that.

if you bought from a 3rd party, they probably are trying to cheat by doing SIOC shipping which means

ship in its own container

which makes sense if you like buy a computer case, just slap a amazon label on it (of course your neighbors now know you have a computer case on your doorstep), this is to save shipping costs

and of course 3rd party are getting away w/ saying a ziploc baggie is also a SIOC
(to save on shipping/packaging)

As Lanx said, Amazon as a whole has publicly stated they're trying to be environmentally conscious / cut shipping costs by trying to reduce the amount (and cost) of packaging materials orders go out in, or remove them altogether as SIOCs. This does seem like a major initiative of theirs - I was in a corporate building of theirs a couple weeks back, and that Amazon shipped Z% of their packages as SIOCs last year was a major news blurb playing in their elevators; I've been in their Fulfillment Centers and watched their employees drop packages X total times from Y total angles and heights to declare a given item safe to SIOC. But that testing only cares the actual item survives, not the packaging, though I thought they had system flags to mark the packaging itself need to survive as well (though who knows if that gets set for every item of a given category by default). Third parties / Amazon can also mark items as fragile, which puts them in extra packaging, but again, that is probably referring more to the end user item, not the packaging.

Actually Xarpolis, you said paper bag - do you mean paper bag with some level of bubble wrap inside? That is a step up from the simple off-white plastic wrapper many items would ship in, depending on if you're NA or EU.

In any case, I thought in the order form Amazon had options for 'This item is a gift' and possibly still 'This item is private'; I would highly encourage you to use them anytime you care about the packaging itself.

Good info. Here's the actual paper bag they shipped it in. You can see how they tried to fix it with tape in more than one spot. There was nothing protective about the bag, just a bag. Garbage shipping.

At least those dots are slightly protective. This had none of that. It was wrapped just like a grocery store shopping bag book cover we used to put on our books in high school.

The problem was this held through Endgame. But post endgame the comic nerds have stopped being the backstop of reliable viewers. This was probably, IMHO, a combination of them just going too deep into "esoteric characters few have heard of" (looking at you Shang-chi) and unfaithfulness to the original IP (looking at you.. uhm.. pretty much everything since Endgame).

I think bad stories have a much larger role to play in this.
