Got tickets for Saturday night in IMAX. Somehow my husband has never seen the original, so we took care of that last night. I’d forgotten how goddamn cheesy the romance shit was in the first one.

Just saw it. Fucking awesome. Enough nostalgia to keep the member berries and enough action to keep you going the whole movie. Waited 3 years for this fucker and it was worth it.

Really the biggest complaint I've heard, and will hit home for me being a fan of the first one, is that F18's are just shit on film compared to the BEAST that is the F14. One is "thats a cool fighter" the other is

I'm going to see it in the theater, and tbh I'm only paying because I want to experience everything aviation related in full fuckin surround sound and a screen the size of my apartment

if you haven't seen it yet, you will know why. I was wondering why no F35s but whatev. I bet because they wouldn't let Tom fly an actual F35 on film lol.
