I am telling you someone needs to hold every tech company accountable for this shit. They they are forced to remain neutral or they should be allowed to be sued into fucking oblivion each time this gayness manifest itself.
Honestly it's the politicians (specifically conservatives) fault for allowing this completely foreseeable and predictable problem to get to the point it has. This could have been addressed much easier 10 years ago with some legislation requiring social media companies above a certain size to operate on first amendment principles. But instead, we've let the problem fester and the tech companies have grown to a point where they're more powerful than the government in some ways and a lot more difficult to reign in. These companies are essentially spitting in the face of Trump and conservatives in general, then telling the public "nope we treat everyone fairly" while trying to hold back their laughter. It's disgusting, and I have absolutely no confidence that they'll ever be held accountable.

re doc i'm now firmly in the camp of he was dipping out on twitch and got caught - extreme lawyering is the only thing that explains no leaks by now - if it was metoo or blackface it would have been leaked

Conservatives fault

10 years ago when Obama was president with a democratic Congress while Obama was using social media

It would have been much easier to build bipartisan support for such a thing before big tech became such a powerful weapon for Democrats. Remember when net neutrality was a hot topic? Could have easily made some concessions there and packed social media neutrality into a bill, it's even a fairly similar in concept.

Yeah if it was some allegation someone would have said something by now.

Trump won in 2016 largely by using Facebook ads+data way, way, way better than the Democrats. Palantir is about as pro-Trump as you get and has data collection technology that far surpasses everyone but Facebook and Google. Saying Big Tech is entirely being dominated by Democrats is not very accurate.

Twitter and Reddit are being dominated by Democrats. Specifically center-left globohomo corporate Democrats. And they are both being used to shut down the voices of actual progressives and right-wingers.

Either that or some kind of intentional stunt to move to another platform.

“Hateful conduct is not allowed on Twitch. In line with our policies, President Trump’s channel has been issued a temporary suspension from Twitch for comments made on stream, and the offending content has been removed,” a Twitch spokesperson told Fox News.

I didn't see it, but whatever, standard temp ban.

What's your support for this statement?

Palantir is one company that does less than 2% the revenue of Facebook. A drop of red in a sea of blue. Also, calling them pro-Trump seems like a stretch since they're only working in his interest because they're being contracted to do so.

Reality? Even if you throw out all the stupid Russia shit, the Trump team's Facebook game was huge while the Clinton campaign could not gain any ground there. Read up on actual analysis of the social media strategies leveraged by the two parties and you'll see how the Democrats were completely outflanked on Facebook as a platform.

The whole reason Parscale is the head of the 2020 campaign is because of his firm's Facebook strategy that helped deliver the win in 2016. Facebook is where they got the bulk of their record-breaking small donor online fundraising donations.

The fact that you people don't even know this stuff just proves you haven't actually been paying attention.

I think this might all just be staged by Twitch as a giant distraction to pull attention away from all the other stuff going on. Now everyone is talking about the Dr. Disrespect Mystery instead of all the attentionthots getting diddled.

I mean, there's obviously validity to the point that the Trump campaign's online media operation was far more effective Clinton's. But in the absense of any strong data/evidence telling us exactly what ads made voters vote for Trump, trying to spin this as "Facebook ads won the election for Trump" just reeks like another pathetic cope for your humiliating defeat.
