Prerolls and streamer pushed ads are blocked 100% currently, midrolls have the ads blocked but you are still forced to look at their default picture for 30seconds.

All they did was change the default picture from "Commercial Break in progress" to the 3rd party warning and that set the idiots off with OMG THEY ARE DETECTING US AND TARGETING US WITH EVEN MORE ADS. They changed a picture and are spamming everyone with ads now regardless.

If they had breakpoints for ads it'd be fine. Like pre-roll, 30 minutes in, 60 minutes in, and then be done. If some one watches a stream for over 60 minutes you shouldn't fuck with that person, they're probably subbing and giving your company money. The problem is they have about 0 competition right now so they can just do whatever they please since the death of Mixer. Youtube gaming is meh and Facebook is for kids. This is classic captivate audience shit. No where else to go and with not much for TV/movies right now it's a big source of entertainment.

I watch through liquiddota, most of the time. Their websight blocked all adds to me and never loaded chat, perfect. But today for the first time, I got sets of 15-30 second adds that basically told me to get the full experience I needed to go to twitch.tv. Purple background walls of text. The world won't be the same.

The biggest problem with Prime Video is it could be the worst UI ever created.

80% of those I follow are men>outdoor>fishing/camping now.
I don't need some half dressed whore for Twitch when we have unlimited porn.
I don't need talentless "djs" acting like they are mixing shit live.
I don't need shitty games no one really cares about.

Pretty much riot streaming and watching Ducksauce f around in Montana is all I care to watch anymore and even then I get bored of it quickly.

I finally gave in and just paid for twitch turbo. I have twitch on in the background more than any other video service so I felt it justified. I actually forgot it was even an option until recently. My troubleshooting / googling / ublock customizing in the end just was not worth my time investment.

Also, makes watching stuff on the TV much more appealing as I always just dealt with the ads there.

Welp DMCA has hit all the VODs I guess. Lirik just removed every single VOD he had. I rarely watch live and just make my way through vods at my own pace since I have odd gaming hours. I was watching shit from back in august still.

There was some small time Rocket League streamer that said fuck it on Friday night, and started playing music. He got hit with a DMCA within the hour.

Gotta love seeing the Music Industry falling apart.
