This was just released so not yet.Is there a better explanation of this stuff?
What impact would moon phases and tar pits have?
You just compared a games amount of content that released 5 days ago in early access to a game that’s been out for almost 6 years with 10 DLCs.Everybody I've watched play this (including WAB) have said how it's "the best survival game", but.. is it really?
First post by the guy above me is Thursday and he and his friends have beaten the entire Early Access content in mere 5 days.
That doesn't sound like 7000hours of playtime out of it like for example. ARK:SE with DLC's.
its worth the 20 bucks. buy the ticket, take the ride.Everybody I've watched play this (including WAB) have said how it's "the best survival game", but.. is it really?

Yeah, I haven't played Valheim yet, but for $20 and the amount of content they have? It's hard to deny that they haven't somewhat set a new "standard" for this shit. I've paid more for survival games with a LOT less content than this seems to have. You just compared a games amount of content that released 5 days ago in early access to a game that’s been out for almost 6 years with 10 DLCs.
I mean, really?
This game is hands down better than ARK was at release. Lord knows it’s better optimized as well, which ARK has problems with for years after its release.
anyways, yes, this is not only the best $20 I’ve ever spent on a game, it’s up there as the best survival game I’ve ever played, my previous favorite being 7 Days to Die. It’s content is great, the world is damn beautiful, mechanics are great, things are balance relatively well and by all accounts there’s a lot of content coming in their road map.
is it a perfect game? No. But is it the definition and new standard of what an early access game should be? Absolutely. It’s a great game.
many games content can be destroyed with a full group quickly. Mine is down to two (sometimes three) people and we are just enjoying a slower progression at this point and building. I built a farm last night along with taming some boars and today I’m gonna fish up a hundred or so fish and begin a full expansion of our first large base and turn it into a full sized settlement. Looking forward to working on it.

Got the cultivator and immediately went stupid with it. Friend cleared a massive area over two hours and flattened it with a million rocks. I covered the whole thing in grass and trees after he loggedGet a cultivator and you can plant grass free anywhere.
