Truly, the closest gameplay and excitement to EQ I've ever had (A few years ago when they Alpha launched)

I did not play after Mistlands, waiting for launch....now I work so much I don't know if I can commit..lol.

It's a survival game - they're all centered around mining sticks and base building. Abiotic Factor and maybe Enshrouded are the only ones that have a slight twist, but even they still have their "mining sticks" moments.

I'm still dealing with Ashlands in the previous version. I think I'mma just finish up Ashy, then cheese my character, gear, and expensive loots over to a new server Deep North map. No way I'm starting again

Screw it, rerolled and promised myself no cheating this run...lol be back in like 3 years.

I heard they have sold 17 mill copies over the years...this should push it back up I would think.

I'll give Valhiem 1.0 a shot at some point. ATM, im giving wrath of the righteous another playthrough.

No rest for the wicked was at thee time of my "play next". and I had even put a few hours into the start... but, it being pushed back. ill push that back again I suppose. Valhiem 1.0 will be the top.

its crazy, how much the other survival base builders stole Valhiems great ideas, then just ran with them. While Valhiem has lingered and progressed so slowly. I've mentioned this before.
valhiem deserves credit for revitalizing, and revolutionizing the genre. but others have left it behind.

food and comfort system largely.

Roads/megastructures is the one thing, others haven't really nailed, or embraced. (not that this allows megastructures either, but yes to roads)
carts/boats/roads are so great, but largely not copied by the others yet.
thats something valhiem does really well. makes transporting items part of the gameloop.

I wonder if any of the expansions have built on that? I'm not up to date. oxen, or minecarts or anything...
