Just like EQ dungeons. There’s a ton. There were so many that there were some most people never even knew of, when we did our alt play through we made sure to hit those out of the way ones up, there’s some really good ones. Some were very much like EQ dungeon crawling. Some are just small caves and not too impressive, but some are big and you can spend many levels inside as there’s different leveled mob areas.

Seems like with the drop rates, respawn timer, etc, camping the named in a dungeon is a valid grind?

For anyone that missed it or didn't know, some GM commands work like
.speed 1500
.setmoney X
.rift zonename

Etc

It depends on your clear speed really. There are some large dungeons that you can figure out a valid clearing path and just do a loop depending on how fast you can clear it. I don’t remember ever just sitting in one spot like PUGs would do in EQ. Maybe the small dungeons at early levels. I really enjoyed heading down into a dungeon and just living in there for a few days.

The one lowbie one I found, ran a circuit clearing a few camps with names.

Was good loot.

Ran some dungeons with Hosix Hosix and a rando tonight. Had a blast. Cleared out a Bee queen for a bit and got some sick loot.

I only ever played vanguard for maybe a week or two before it shut down, but I remember a dungeon we entered from a sunken ship. We did the main dungeon for a bit, and iirc there was a second higher level dungeon hidden inside. It’s that kinda shit that makes me want to explore this game so badly.

It was the real sequel to EQ after a couple years of development post release. The only mmo I played since EQ that really felt like it. It’s too bad they shit the bed so hard at release. Only a few thousand people experienced it when it was in a good state.

Immersion is the secret ingredient.

I got to 10 then got the worst stomach flu of my life last 2 days. I'll be on some as Skullmogger the psionicist. Looks like they found a way to balance enchanters with charm in this one.
