yep, but there are ways to make it faster now. the pota grind is a fucking bitch, yes, but when sillius put it in the game, it was with the intention that vg was going to be put to pasture and so you got insanely powerful raid gear for group content. even for cow, the devs have said t3 will last a while so even if its boring, its definitely worth doing if you plan to raid in vg.

Oh I was just wondering if it was the same, I did it when it dropped at it was insane as hell. Especially after most of us had just done max KDQ on our mains and alts. I did like farming Pantheon nameds and even though an autistic drunken toddler could raid in VG I still loved the raids. I feel like it was the last game where you had to contest raid mobs which always makes it more fun for me.

This came on the pre-order disc right? I remember being so jazzed when I saw this. I really hope that Brad keeps the creativity and adds in more focus with his next game. This game has the best classes in any MMORPG imo.

Question - does this game still have an active population, at least enough to keep SOE from shutting it down anytime soon, on the 1 server that exists? After all of the Pantheon buzz on the other thread, I decided to give VG a try. I've been an EQ junkie on and off for close to half my life, and I wanna see what this game is about. I don't care about all the hate the game got, I just wanna play it. I'm just worried that if I happen to enjoy it and play a character, SOE will shut 'er down or something. I don't have near enough idea of the 'health' of the game/population like I do for EQ. With SOE going all access for any sub, I might end up liking this game and have gold access to it while I'm subbed to EQ.
