Doesn't happen as often as that for me, but my most consistent "repeat" dream is exactly that, showing up for class (any class) and not realizing there was a test and having absolutely no idea what I'm looking at on the page. It is typically mixed in with scenes of missing class repeatedly before the test day, which is why I don't realize I'm walking into a test.

Ha. Another dream I've had is having to take what seems to be a world history test and having forgot to attend any of the classes.

I have dreams ALOT where im back in High School, But Im not really. Im freaking out because I havent attended in months, have no idea what classes im supposed to be in or what order, but then I am just like "Why am I even worried I already graduated and am 36 making great money". Its like me and everyone from highschool are just taking classes for no reason?

Some weird hybrid where I have to go back to school?

Also have ones where im in the NHL playing shifts and have no idea how to play hockey or skate.

HAd a dream last night where I was living in a "movie" where I was part of a gang og kids who were taking part in a weird "Airborne" type race where we sat on small skateboards and whizzed around a Malaysian City trying to complete the devils backbone downhill course while also trying to outrun a killer drug gang out to kill us.

I do have a recurring school theme in some of my dreams. Usually it's getting trapped in hallways, or being unable to leave the campus, similar to the last dream I posted, but set at school. Endless hallways, feeling of being lost, knowing I have somewhere to be, but can't remember what or where. The times that I do, it's usually because I'm a teacher or coach, and that thought is more terrifying to me than being back in school as a student.

Quite often. It's a pretty common dream for people. I grind my teeth and I think that's what triggers them for me. It's common enough that I know what the brain thinks chewing your own teeth into crumbs would feel like.

I had 2 water dreams last night. The first one I heard a leak in my basement and found some sort of weird drain pipe was backing up and pouring water. I desperately tried to fix it but only made it worse. Then I was at some sort of beach resort, walking between the pool and the ocean during a dark, cloudy windy night when a crazy alarm went off and someone pointed out to sea. A series of tidal waves were sweeping in. I ran and ran but got swept up and just when the waves peaked and I was about to be dashed on rocks I thought to myself "Well, I am totally going to die" with the saddest feeling in my guts.....and then I woke up.

It was pretty vivid and extremely sad. But I snuggled my dog and my kid and was back to sleep in like 3 mins.

Also, I have never had a recurring dream in my life. I guess that is just as strange?

The latest one was where I ran into a person I REALLY used to like, but had a tremendous falling out with and don't talk to anymore. We sat down and talked about how silly our feud was and how we missed each other. We apologized for the things we said.

Then we just sat and talked.

Like we used to. Back when the world wasn't such a fucked up stupid place to live in.

Then I woke up and realized that person is still not in my life and that they hadn't apologized and neither had I and we never will and I won't ever see them again and even if I did it wouldn't ever be like it was. Ever.

I'm not even sure I should share this one, but it's too fucking bizarre not to.

I've been selling a lot of stuff on what is essentially Canada's version of Craigslist. This of course beings up a lot of uncomfortable interactions with strangers, and it seems to have bled into my dreaming.

Last night I dreamt I was selling a pair of my used boxer shorts. (WTF'ing yet?) and someone was interested in buying them and asked to come check them out. The person ends up being a weirdly dressed woman in her early 20's that looked like a "gamer girl" type that you might find on twitch or whatever. Silly stockings, dyed hair, baggy hoodie, and animal ear headwear and shit like that, and a really bubbly personality.

I'm not into thots or extroverted women in general, and I don't tolerate younger people very well, so this kind of person would not be someone I would want to bother interacting with, and I was impatient in the dream and was highly suspicious that they were just a tire kicker or someone trying to scam me (yes, for my used boxer shorts) and I pushed her to decide if she wanted them or not, to which she tells me she can't know for sure until she tries them on, and she proceeds to plop down onto the driveway, pull the boxers on, and piss herself. She then takes them off and tells me that they won't work for her and she walks away. End of dream.

Nothing about this dream makes any relevant sense to me other than being "stressed" out about selling shit to strangers. There has been no sort of thing that has come up or been seen or anything that would make a plausible trigger for the rest of it.

I think I should start drinking.

Dreamed I was living in a college dorm like environment, with all you fuckers! The rooms were either singles or doubles, as a typical dorm. It was like a Real Life, In Person, College version of these forums. Can't remember too much, but I do remember that one time I wanted to upgrade my PC and went to Bubbles Bubbles room and got to inspect his awesome Porn Storage 9000 (tm) machine and got advice from him. Also, one of our leftie members (can't remember which) decided to go to the shops down the road... now, while I had the feeling this dorm was in the US, the shop "down the road" seemed to be located in the UK, so when he returned a few minutes later he had been stabbed, set on fire (his cloths were still slightly flaming), and been tazed by the police for a "hate speech incident".

Had a dream the chick doctor leader from Private Practice (and earlier Greys) was doing my sons circumcision and in the middle of it she looks over and sees out the window some "exicitng ER emergency surgery" or something that she really really "wants to get in on" and then tries to hurry up and lops the full head off my sons dick...I was like....wtf! and she ran out the door.

I hate when my wife leaves these stupid shows on while going to sleep >_<

Had this dream a while back, never got to write it down until today. It's not strange but it is fucked up.

Wife kids and i are in my mom's apartment (the one i grew up in) and every fucking detail is exactly like the last time i saw that place, every door everything is how i remember it, and the dream is crystal clear.

All of a sudden we hear this barking coming from one of the closets. Now i know this sound, this is my boy Sinbad who's been dead for 4 years. We rush to the closet and find a coffin (yep..) and the barking is coming from it. We rush to open it and sure enough the little fucker is in there, alive and well.

Queue amazement, joy, tears from the kids (and the adults) and wonder. How the fuck is it possible? I was there when they put him to sleep, there is no way he's alive. We quickly forget all the questions and move on with our day, play with the dog, take him out, play a lot more. There's no doubt. IT IS our dog and HE IS Alive.

The day ends, everyone is still kind of baffled but we're too happy to care. Everyone goes to bed, the dog is sleeping at the end of our bed like he did for 8 years.

And then i woke up. I sat up so fucking quick that i woke my wife up. I looked at the end of the bed and yeah, my dog was not here. I can't even describe the feelings that went through me in those 10 seconds of half asleep half conscious time where i went from joy from the dream to being awake to hope it wasn't a dream to getting completely crushed as reality seeped in.

I was sad the entire fucking day following this soul crushing experience. Thankfully it never happened again.

I was wondering whether to post this in the Politics or World of Warcraft threads til I remembered this one...

The other day I dreamed that Bloomberg's meme army decided it would be good for his campaign if he tried to be a bit "hip" and show he was "in with the times" by leading a raid in WoW live on Twitch. Now, naturally, he's not going to sit and level a toon by himself, so naturally one of his campaign staffers levels some WoW character to 120 for him. So, they set up a day and a time to stream this, and since he's a total noob, they decide to have him lead a simple Legacy raid, nothing too complicated, and an experienced staffer can whisper instructions in his ear.

The stream starts, WoW loads up, his character is logged on and Mike is wired in and ready...

Mike: "Ok, let's get this show on the road! So, how do you move this thing?"
Staffer: "Press 'W' to move forward, and then ASD for sidways and back.
M: "What? Why not use the arrow keys?! That's what they're designed for!!"
S: "Well.. uh.. I don't know.."
M: "Ok, ok, so how do you attack?"
S: "Ah.. ok so to attack you either right click on the target, or you can use an ability by pressing one of the number ke..."
M: "WHAT?? That's idiotic! You should press "A" to attack! What sort of a retarded game is this? And what about spells?"
S: "Erm.. oh.. eh.. well.. they're also on the number ke..."
M: "God damn it! You should press "S" to cast spells! What the hell is this, who designed this piece of crap?!? God damn it, I want you to find the company that made this and buy them! We're going to fix this piece of shit and have them use proper keyboard controls! We'll get back to this when that's done. I'm outa here!!"

And that's why Bloomers bought Blizzard and ruined what was left of WoW!

Ever have a dream where you remember something in the dream, but what you remember is really from another dream that you'd forgotten you had?

Dreamt I was living in an apartment again and dealing with really loud neighbors, and missed a person I used to sleep with. Sleep sleep. But that only happened once with this person in real life. The memory in the dream was from another dream where I used to go sleep in their comfortable bed in peace, because they had a corner unit and no neighbors. Felt a legitimate longing for this experience that I felt I had had before, in which I actually hadn't. Not in the way it was portrayed anyway. In real life, we once drunkenly passed out on her uncomfortable couch together.

Another piece was this tiny little dollhouse that had a little characiture of Donald Trump with him name on the roof. A previous dream from a long time ago, that house was George H.W. Bush's. You could see the face was the same on the doll, but the hard plastic hair had been painted blonde.

Lot of other weird shit happened with the apartment scene, but it's not really making sense now that I'm conscious, and the memory is fading fast. I was also woken up to a pretty bad sinus headache. Like wincing pain in my forehead.
