May be crossing tickle pickle and rustle threads…

My son has figured out how to use this little screw driver set and can open all the battery compartments on his toys.

We are now out of batteries.

Sold my mill and lathe. Guys came really prepared. Brought a truck, lift, a couple of riggers and an electrician.

I wish all shit went that well and prepared. Was dreading it. Took less than 30 minutes.

Went to a titty bar yesterday for the first time in at least a decade. Wife knew about it. When I got home she had 20 questions. On the drive home I was preparing to convince her she needed to smell my dick to make sure I didn't mess around. It wasn't a fully formed plan but I didn't need it. She said "I bet you're pretty worked up, huh?" "Yup i'm all horned up and you sure got a pretty mouth." "Get on the bed."

Got paid today. Something I did 34 years ago. No contract. Just a once a year payout/bonus from a company I haven't worked for since 1994. Every year I knew it would be the last one, and yet no idea why. I don't ask, the company is now run by the owners son that I don't even know. Gift horse and a mouth so to speak.

Seen it all now. Probably a common thing but new to me. Heavy industrial and power plant project coordinator job posting requiring knowledge of engineering and shop drawings.

Benefits include the normal and pet insurance. Umm lol.

Yeah.. Pet Insurance is a real thing now it seems.... I'm really not sure what that says about society.

We offer it. I got it for our dogs. Going through surgeries and end-of-life expenses for two prior dogs made it worth while. Only problem is remembering to use it.

I'm debating it since the version through my company can be leveraged along with a weird "flex benefit" we get to essentially cover all of the Heartworm preventatives for two beasts, plus most of the yearly checkups, for far less than just paying.... at least it SEEMS that way.

I’d at least check with the Vet you use. I found out not all the vets near us will accept the insurance.

Yeah, it's a benefit where I work (Premium partially subsidized by the company, like adding Dental or Vision in my benefits) But also my company is California based, so there's a lot of "Crazy Liberal California Sensibilities" in our benefits package. heh

This place is in a semi rural area, town about 5,000 and 45 minutes or more from Waco, TX. Imagine all the cat ladies that would attract. I've done work in the job area the listing was for. In 35 years I've never known a woman in that job type. Who knows.

My job has it too. I don't know if any of it is paid by the company, but I took a good look when they first offered it and it wasn't worth it.
