Android Auto has been pissing me off lately for the opposite reason: it says "Ok, playing such and such song on Spotify" and then just keeps on playing the song that was on. Over and over and over. No matter the song, same thing. Eventually I yelled at it and asked why the fuck it won't play the fucking song...and Taylor Swift started playing 
I have to be saying something wrong (even though it is what I always said) because it did switch it that time, but every other time it just says ok, playing the song, then does nothing.
It worked fucking perfectly a month or two ago, and now the only way I can get it to play something is by manually touching the screen in the car. I don't fucking text or any of that shit while driving because I don't want to die (or kill someone else) and I think anyone that does is a piece of shit, but now if I want a different fucking song I have to essentially text, just on a bigger screen.
I have to wonder if it is Gemini related, since I still have it on Assistant instead. Fuck that Gemini bullshit.

My award winning idiocy from Android Auto recently... I was heading home and the wife wanted me to pick up pizza on the way home. Nothing insane, just Pizza Hut.

I keep hearing that "soon" they're going to fully replace android assistant with Gemini. But so far it's only the phone assistant, and not into Android Auto yet. They're probably trying to figure out a way to lock it behind a subscription somewhere.
I just want a fun, sarcastic but USEFUL AI sidekick like KITT. We have the technology!

So bought a gun from basspro's website. Got an email monday morning saying its ready for pickup.
Now Ive never bought a gun from basspro before so I just go down there. Find out you can just pickup a firearm, you have to make an appointment to pickup an online order. Cant make an appointment then because everything is booked until today so I make one for today.
Go there after work and go to sign in on their kiosk and it says no appointment found even though I had just minutes ago gotten reminder texts about my 5pm appointment. Manage to catch one of their associates and he says yeah I dont have anything at this time but I show him my confirmation so he helps me anyways. Hand him my drivers license and voter id card as my license has my old address on it. Guy goes over and talks to his supervisor and eventually she comes over to me. Tells me they cant do the transfer because my license from 2010 with its previous address is too old and my voter id card from 2016 is also too old confirm my new address.
Ive bought probably 20+ firearms and 7 suppressors using the same exact dl and voter id card and never had an issue at multiple gun stores before. So now I gotta go back again, Friday after getting an updated license to finally get my shotgun. I was gonna buy some shells and clays from them at the same time but fuck that.

I ran into this where I live now back when I was active duty. I had an out of state driver's license, they said they couldn't use it without my orders (lol). This was for a small Ruger Five Seven, ammo smaller than a pencil eraser. I asked if I could buy that gigantic Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle they were proudly displaying, and they said I sure could, only handguns were restricted!
THIS is just one reason why gun laws are retarded. Sheniquondus out on bail with 12 violent felonies has an easier time getting a handgun.
