My grandmother had both knees replaced back in the early 2000's. Both procedures she was up walking the same day and going home within a couple... Kinda amazing. Made a huge difference for her.Nope, nothing to be done except get some cool carbon fiber robot parts and have more neat scars. My father in law has had both knees replaced. He's 71 and the procedures were much older than what's available today; he's super active with no discomfort.
I do admit, I could be better with stretching, foam rolling, and joint health. But, like cardio, I don't do it as much because I don't enjoy it. Lame excuse, I know.
As opposed to my grandfather who had to have his knees scoped and jacked up cartilage cleaned up, but it was back in the mid 80's and just that laid him up in bed for a solid couple weeks....
