I have 5 prescriptions with CVS. 3 of them are prescribed daily but I really use them as needed. So I don't want those refilled automatically. I want the other 2 refilled automatically. Constant fucking messages about those 3. It's time to refill... We have you refill ready for pickup ... It doesn't matter how often I tell them I don't want to refill they still get the shit ready for me every 3 months for some reason.

But for the other 2, I have to call every mother fucking time. No matter how many times I ask for them to be put on automatic refill. One of these days I'm going to find out you can only have 3 meds on auto refill in their system for some reason.

Last month I sent in a refill request, eventually got the confirmation that my meds were ready, and then I got a message saying it was too early to refill. I went in and they had it ready.

Dealing with the federal government/FCC. My license is now listed as expired but active which makes zero sense. I contacted the FCC and they said my address was not valid. I sent them a scan of my license (which they no longer provide) that they sent years ago and I received with the address they said is not valid. Funny all my bills manage to get here.

The big tip off should be there's an organization that will take care of the FCC end for you for a fee of $80 on stuff. They have access to the FCC end and they said they have no idea at all so talk to the FCC.

Bro when I was trying to get a NV drivers license (which is surprisingly difficult due to all the grifters in Vegas) I learned that NC had somehow revoked my SC license that I'd renewed 3x times. None of this shit makes sense. Fake and gay!

yesterday, very long day, go to store just before close. run in to grab a mower deck belt. while i was able to find the only one in stock to fit, i don't think the right belt was in the package.

All that crap and the FCC and the AARL (amatuer radio league that does the FCC stuff for a fee) sent me an email this morning on a Saturday at 9am that they fixed the problem effective today. Thanks, my license was set to expire today. Good now till 2034.

Had problems when I first got the license, a month later I paid the AARL to get me a new callsign that became available that was much shorter and that took a while to get it straightened out. The feds grrr lol.

When I sold auto parts we would have a shitload of belts without packaging but only the part number on the belt. We had a deal that you placed the belt on and it slid and and gave the exact length. Long shot but some hardware stores have one, only handy if you know the length you need.

"Thank you for your service." Does anyone really give a shit? I was wearing a t-shirt given to me as a gift, it says Navy. I wouldn't buy it for myself. Some rando asked if I was in the Navy. Yes, was my reply. Then it comes, "tyfys". He goes on to say that he was in the Marines. I couldn't care less. The statement means nothing to me. Why do people feel the need to thank someone for that. I didn't die, it wasn't a "sacrifice". It happens whenever anyone finds out you were in the military. To me, it's as empty as the methhead cashier saying, 'have a blessed day". Keep that to yourself.

My pet peeve is the older fucks but still young enough that I'm fairly certain they didnt really do boots in the jungles really scary shit, but their entire persona is omg I served (usually navy and air force most commonly) It will be hat/shit/pins galore, I can only imagine their house. Like my best friend pretty much is still in service an E9 SGM or CSM I forget, I did a pathetic little stint in the army etc didnt do anything. So I'm not somebody who's had no attachment to it. But imo it's something you wheel out on the appropriate holidays, have a little memorabilia at home, and if it happens to come up sure talk about it. But have a personality beyond having done 4-6 years 30 years ago....

People don't know your life history, or the extent to which you Served. So it's not like they can choose to thank only the people who were shot at. And regardless, just choosing to sign up puts you WAY ahead of civilians (as far as I'm concerned) when it comes to who has more say in this country since you're obviously more invested. All citizens GET a say, but those willing to back it up with their lives should be taken more seriously.
