Of course there was also Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The list of his work is endless. Odd fact. I saw an interview with him after Paul Newman passed away. He was asked what his favorite film he acted in was. He said he didnt have one as he had never once watched any of the movies he made. When asked to explain he said he viewed each scene he shot as his work and he didn't care about the entire film, he was there to act the best scene he could and then he was done with it. That was his work. It always struck me as an odd viewpoint as everyone else in Hollywood is concerned with the finished product and what it "has to say". He never gave a shit about that. They never asked about how he felt about it as a director.
