My grandmother was pretty sure she was going to die shortly after my grandad did but to her disappointment, she lived another 10 years.

My grandfather died in 1991. My grandmother lived until 2023. On the road my grandparents lived on a lot of women lived a lot longer than their husbands. Guess they worked them to derath, but my grandmother was the big bread winner.

I think I had read Dollys husband was big in construction or gravel delivery or some such.

This is a fucking depressing week. Tim Curry got sidelined by a serious stroke that left him permanently paralyzed to a degree that he couldn't work. Brain was still working fine, just had limited bodily control. Took a lot of work for him not to slur speech and wasn't able to walk and such.
