Both were. Although Artax was probably more traumatizing because as a little kid you thought the horse actually died

I'm so envious that some of you can remember so much. I know I saw it in a theatre, but I can't remember which one or who I was with.

I don't remember being upset, my memory is of being surprised, kind of a kids' "that was cool!" you'd say after watching a bunch of car crashes or something.
