Hate to say it but the giant keyboard and ferris wheel actually has me interested in the housing. If there are a large amount of items like that, even if rare, I can see myself sitting on my island messing around for hours.
And the chua look awesome. I really hope that creepy maniac laugh is their VO. I wonder why he seemed so excited about the question about a female chua and its a "Closely held secret". He made it seem like it's big special deal. Do the females morph into 6ft rabid chipmunks once a month or something?
Wish we could get something other then esper. Though was interesting to see 2 of the blue spinning blades things going off sometimes, like a proc. Wonder if that is innate or some talent/skill system.
I want to see videos of warplots and raids, I don't need to see all details just snippets of how it works, or at least a full dungeon group. I want to see how all the telegraphs work together, how tanking works, healing etc.

Well I mainly don't want to be the idiot that plays EQ2 instead.
I just watched the 3 vids introducing the races. Before I've seen generic shit I don't remember and a fair number of screenshots that gave off that vibe. Was curious if it would work better in video. I mean I've played a couple Ratchet and Clank games and enjoyed them well enough but this isn't working for me. I'll probably still give it a shot come open beta or whatever...maybe it'll actually work out better since I won't know as much about the game.
So, what you are saying is you're a Wildstar insider. Your TESO agenda makes perfect sense now.

Yea I just watched the first couple videos I've seen of the combat and mostly agree with Ut. How hard is it to make it look like your weapon is actually making contact with its target in 2013? And who thought it was a good idea to add in the GW2 roll gimmick?
It made it look exactly like GW2 with cartoon graphics. Dodging predictable stuff and channeling overlong skills that do no fucking damage. I had flash backs of playing an Engineer.
Hotkey games with shitty dodge mechanics aren't cool at all. They aren't even fun to play, they're tedious. If you want to make it an action game, make it an action game. Have the hotkeys be as limited as possible, like selecting weapons in an fps, and make everything use mouse1/2. I don't want to press my 1 key and watching a 3 channeled animation.
It's actually awkward as shit to be trying to use a hotkey rotation in these movement based games. Not in a challenging way, just in a really bad gameplay way. It just creates this whole imbalance between your primary inputs of wasd/the right side of your keyboard and your mouse.

I didn't get "action combat" from what I saw at all. I heard some nasally dudes talking about it but I saw one video with a tall furry who has a terrible run animation take 3 seconds to do a deliberate sword swing combo that looked like it just waved in front of the mobs he was attacking and then another with a rogueish type class that dual wielded pistols look a little more movement based but every time it fired off an attack the character would freeze in place to shoot off a second long animation. But then he GW2 rolled out of the way! ACTION
I don't know what WoW is like now but when I played it the greatest thing it did was allow me to move whenever the fuck I wanted. When you were rooted in place you waited on a cast bar, not an animation.
