Maybe they like the game and don't want to lose their access.
Remember, I am just looking at UI window and LUA files...there is a lot that might not be in game, or misunderstood by me. Some stuff I saw this morning.
Group Options:
Loot Distribution: Master, Round Robin, Need before Greed, Free for All
Loot Threshold: Average, Good, Excellent, Superb, Exquisite, Phenomenal, Extraordinary, Legendary
Instance Difficulty: Normal, Veteran
Instance Game Mode: Normal, Speed Run, Completion Run, Nightmare
I am curious what Nightmare is.
Crowd Control Game: There is a UI element that will appear when crowd controlled with a progress bar and the option to "Tap a key" to break out of it. Sounds interesting.
There are 2 types of crafting from what I can see, the Circuit Board Crafting we already saw, and the normal crafting. They have different windows.
This is so sad, looking at LUA and XML files for a game I have no access to, is more fun then playing the MMO that are out right now.

Technically it isn't a leak if it's publicly available. NCSoft should lock down their client.

Well Nightmare imo can be 2 simple things. It's either hard mode, so more mechanics, different paths, etc, basically wow's hard mode right. Or it's heroic so basically version 60(or whatever the max lvl is) of normal dungeons. However since there's also an instance difficulty setting(normal/veteran), it is most likely heroics. Nothing new here really, at least it doesn't seem like it.I am curious what Nightmare is.
I'm pretty sure I remember that raids only had one version. The only "updgraded" modes were for dungeons.

Or just even more difficult dungeons, yeah. I'm glad they're adding in some speed runs too, I've always enjoyed a good speed run that's for sure.
Good to see a group finder in those notes already though. Not having a group finder on launch would be gross. Also, yeeeeeeee. Time to play Medic (well.. whenever I get an invite)

I assume the engineer is tank/dps and the medic is heal/dps (duh). I wonder if Wildstar can pull off a pet class since no other game has done that ever really.

Some interesting stuff in all the LUA/Xml stuff. Yeah agree with abe having its own editor is pretty cool, I always looked to other to so the modding, I might actually try myself.
First one that really stood out for me : Companion window , with 3 tabs; Pets, Land mounts, Flying mounts.
Something called charmer, that has a bunch of pet addons attached to it(pet info, pet empathy, pet info, pet abilities etc).

Was a mage in EQ, similar to many others, my main class in EQ kind of defined what I like playing today. I love pet classes and try them first in every MMO, but I agree that they are hardly ever "pet" classes. Pets are usually just mini-dots now, hardly ever matters if they die. In EQ, if my pet died while soloing, I usually died fairly quickly after that. Kibartik nooooo.
I had high hopes for the Summoner class in Vanguard. When dreams are crushed so thoroughly no hope remains. Though I did enjoy the Vanguard Necro pets, being able to upgrade and change them with items. But my guess, the Wildstar pet class will have more in common with a WoW hunter than an EQ mage. Certainly in the dependence part. A little robot to hold aggro and do a bit of damage, but if it dies, no real biggie.

Might be, since there is also a "Wrangler" element, that has it setup like you are capturing pets.
Also looks to be some kind of resource conversion system, shows one item of left(and how many you have in your bags) with # and then item on the right with a # , w/ a convert button on the bottom.

I am curious as to how pets are going to work. With the telegraph system in full swing it would be a pain in the ass to make your generally retarded pet avoid them. Making them outright immune to telegraphs is even more stupid though. But I guess temporary turrets/bots and stuff could be pretty cool.

Man, I really hope you're wrong about those flying mounts and there won't be any in the game or they'll work like the gliders from Archeage.
